Do you think this is worth it for either party involved? I personally don’t. Remember when it seemed like a done deal he was going to the Lakers last year.

If Rasheed Wallace is available and focused to play it certainly can’t hurt for the Knicks to add him…especially since he’d be taking the veterans minimum to play there.

The question I’d ask is if he can still play. He really struggled his last year with Boston, missed open shots, sometimes took ill advised ones. And he is only getting older and slower.

He had really bad percentages his last year. He is a big body, but he needs to know to not shoot the ball that much. The Knicks have enough scorers

i say why not? sheed will be brought in for defensive perposes. his lenth would be good in guarding kg and his strength can help contain bynum. we need a little more help down low anyways. he wont play many minutes though.

sheed only needs to play defense, remember when Howard played his worst against the celtics, it was all because of Sheed, and the attitude of  i dont give a shit about technical foul

I’m also skpetical that he’s ready to be back in the league. I saw some tape of him a week or so ago and he didn’t look to be great shape. That being said, I hope I’m wrong because he would provide some the Knicks with more defensive toughness.

If he makes the Knicks Squad I’m sure it will be understood by Sheed that he can’t look to score that much. There’s no way the Knicks would sign him up just so he could perch on the perimeter for contested 3’s…….right??
