llperezoffense? wade has averaged 28 or more 1 time. Kobe has done that 6 times. He was a better scorer, and i cant even waste my breath arguing it with the counteless stats supporting this as if just watching them play doesnt answer that enough.
defense? wade has made 0 all defensive first teams. kobe has made 9. In their primes, kobe was a better shutdown one on one defender and better team defender.
wade turns the ball over more. He has averaged 3.9 turnovers or more 3 times, kobe only has done that once and their career turnover numbers kobe is about half a turnover less then wade.
Championships? yeah lets not go there.
Perimeter shooting? Ball handling? post game? overall skills? Wade doesnt equal kobe in any of these ways.
Even if you subtracted every single laker/kobe fan and every single miami/wade fan from this argument, kobe would get more votes then wade by a landslide regardless if we are talking about now, prime, overall career whatever..
lets face it, you have to really be a kobe hater to support wade on this argument. Of course there certainly are a lot of those. kobe is just held to higher standard then most. He just got done averaging 30ppg in the polayoffs and upped his fg% slightly fromt the reg season while doing so and people would make you think he sucked. Wade aint held to those high standards and he doesnt get ripped on like kobe does when his team losses either.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantThey both have their strengths and weaknesses. Wades scoring doesn’t justify anything he has averaged 6+ assists for most of his career and was a point guard early on. Another thing wade had other legitimat options during Kobe’s prime of scoring such as shaq, wade led the league in scoring once but overall injuries have really made his stats underwhelm. Talking about rings? Kobe had shaq to get him his first 3 and didn’t win any until pau came too town so like wade Kobe couldn’t do it alone. Wade isn’t like Kobe and try to jump ship when things get sour, remember when Kobe wanted out bad and was nearly traded to Chicago in 2006? Im a big fan of both players but some of your points are flawed. As far as shooting yeah Kobe is slightly better but his career 3 point% isn’t that far off from wades. Another thing wade is a WAY better teammate than Kobe, do you think Kobe would let Lebron come in and take over his team for another shot at a ring?

llperezshaq had kobe, but its not like they sniff those rings without kobe either. Everyone knows those rings were actually won during the western conference finals where the lakers palyed their toughest comp and during the 2001 and 2002 wetern finals, kobe outscored shaq. Kobe also finshed the games. Of course kobe doesnt win without shaq, but you cant hold that aginst him. Wade doesnt win without lebron this past year either. ANd as for pau, pau had never won a single playoff game before kobe. Also im not sure how you judge who is a better teammate. Being a great teammate isnt all about being nice and taking a back seat. Of course wade stepped aside for lebron, lebron was flat out better. Its not like he doesnt take his share of shots and force things from tiem to time still. How many guys that kobe has played with in his 16 seasons have called out kobe or not wanted to play with him? Shaq, and shaq has had problems with everyone including wade. Free agents still come to play with kobe. Phil jackson and derek fisher came back to play with him. Guys get bummed like odom when they get traded. Nash who probably knows kobe as well as any opponent actually was the one who choose the lakers.
besides, we really dont need stats and rings to justify who was better, all you had to do was watch.

Players don’t have to come out and speak about who is the better teammate we all know Kobe can be selfish as gown by his teammates frustration against okc when he shot them out of the games. Lebron is flat out better than Kobe but do you think he would take a backseat to him? Not in this lifetime. Yes Kobe finished the games in 01-01 but shaq had a much bigger impact on the team than Kobe did especially in Phil’s triangle offense. Kobe publicly state he wanted out bad when things got sour in 06 while wade stuck with his team in 08 even though they were bottom dwellers. Another sign of who’s the better teammate

llperezkobes asking out thing was a ploy to get management to bring guys in. They had just failed to advance past the first round three seasons in a row and i dont think for one second he wanted traded, his comments lasted a matter of weeks and then he went silent. He was just trying to get management to make moves. Also, the lakers were first place in the western conference half way through that 2007-08 season before pau showed up. People always forget that, acting like pau changed things. They were already the best team in the west without him that year. They wouldnt have made th efinals without pau, but that was only because both bynum and ariza who were both having breakout seasons went down within days of each other with season ending injuries and then pau came in and saved the season that was already off to a fanatastic start without him.

It was always easier for Kobe to draw in better players as la is one of the biggest markets in the us while Miami like many southern cities is a. Football and baseball city
