     I didn’t double check these, but off of the top of my head….

    Grant Hill, Chris Mullin, Pete Maravich

    Steve Nash is always the guy I think of first from this era.

         Well, like I said, I didn’t check double check. But yes, he did play in that finals. That was either his last season or second last season in the league I think.

        I believe I was correct about the other two. And Pete Maravich needed mentioning.

    • Bob Lanier (20, 10 and 3.1 for his career. Big time center, never pulled a Finals appearance)
    • Bernard King (Was a monster for a while, 22.5/5.8/3.3, furthest he got was Conference Semis)
    • Alex English (Leading point scorer for the decade of the 80’s)
    • Chris Webber (never made a Final, guess Grant Hill is in there as well)
    • Tracy McGrady/Vince Carter (if only he had never left for Orlando. Had a good Outside the Lines with Michael Landsberg discussing that)
    • Walt Bellamy (One of the greatest rookie seasons of All-Time, Hall of Famer, never made a Final)
    • David Thompson (Made an ABA Final, never made an NBA Final. Scored 73 points in a single game, only players to score more would be Wilt and Kobe as far as the NBA goes. 22.1 ppg, 3.8 rpg and 3.2 apg for his NBA career)
    • Sidney Moncrief (Two time DPOY, Milwaukee only got to Conference Finals)
    • Dave Bing (Detroit Pistons great, only played 31 career play-off games. 20.3 ppg, 3.8 rpg and 6 apg for career)
    • Artis Gilmore (Recent Hall inductee, 7-2 with a monster afro, made a few ABA Finals, never NBA)
    • Connie Hawkins (The legendary "Hawk" never made a Final, though he took a Laker team with Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor and Jerry West to 7 games)

    Possible best ever: Pitol Pete Maravich? Never made a Finals, retired the year before the Celtics won the 1981 Championship. Career averages of 24.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 5.4 apg. NBA at 50 recipient, Hall of Famer and NCAA’s All-Time leading scorer. Plus, he is Pistol Pete:

    Penny played in the Finals with Shaq on that Orlando Magic team in 94-95.
