birdman1113Participantwhat do you think of Sam Young i think if he is drafted at 25 by the Thunder, he could be a huge part of them making the playoffs soon?

bflaa2ParticipantI think there is alot more teams, I think he could be very good in Minnesota right away at the 28th pick.
29 to the Lakers
24,32-PortlandThose teams need a SF more than Thunder, the thunder need big men. I like the Thunder taking someone like Gani Lawal, or Tyler Hansbrough.
This guy I think is very good he has developed well over his career at Pitt. He helped alot offensively down the stretch for Pitt.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantI think Sam is too slow to be a starting 3 and too small to be a starting 4… but I do think that he could be effective off of the bench. He’s a good scorer, and he’s strong for a 3 so I think he’s a mismatch, especially against 2nd tier guys. He’s kind of a poor man’s Carmelo Anthony~ a bull of a scorer

Untouchable JParticipantDurant is their 3, and if they take Thabeet instead of Harden they will look at taking a traditional SG AT 25. (or Gani Lawal). If they take Harden, theyll go big at 25
Considering Jeff Green is a natural 3, you dont want to become the Hawks and have a roster full of the same position.

JNixonParticipantMore like Joey Graham-a bull of a bench player

ctw724ParticipantI think he is athletic like Clyde Drexler and has a game similar to Shane Battier.

I hope the Bulls get him!!!

auberParticipantI like him more than James Johnson personally, but I’m in the few in that argument. He won’t go to the Thunder with Jeff Green on their Roster. I own Durant in an auction keeper league and am bumping him up from a 5/2 to a 30 1/6. That Way I own him for the next six seasons at $30. If he’s a shooting guard I want no part of him. He’s a natural 3 and the face of your franchise. Define his position soon so you can determine the fate of how this team drafts. Personally I go Thabeet and Lawal at 3,25 respectively, but that’s just me. I think Dallas will take a serious look at Young at 22 with all the Josh Howard Trade Talks.

ctw724ParticipantHis numbers went up in the Tourney and against top competition. People that judge his age over his game will be missing out on a very good team player.

ghostfaceParticipantI would like to see the Bulls take him. Let selfish and defensive liability Ben Gordon go. Not only is Young an athletic scorer but also a lock down defender. The Bulls definitely need more good defenders

ctw724ParticipantWhen I see certain clips of him I tend to think of Shane Battier, but with more athleticism and less charges (Battier is known for taking charges).

xbadgerhustlerParticipantdude is clearly not melo…. i think he’s a lot more skilled than joey graham, but not quite the athlete.
The Thunder should definitely take Thabeet if he’s still available… I see them trading down to get Curry though…
Westbrook
Curry
Durant
Green
Krstic/CollisonWould be a realllllly good starting 5 offensively. Westbrook and Green are both good playmakers and Durant and Curry are as pure of scorers as you’ll find. Nenad and Nick are both serviceable big men. What if the Thunder could snag David Lee?
Could also use Sefolsha on nights against premier wings like Kobe or TMac

Johnny_HazeltineParticipantSam Young is much better than his hype. He’s more along the lines of Josh Howard than Melo. He should go #18 to MIN if they draft a guard at #6. If not, then UTA is a great fit for him, however, he probably will be somebody’s 2nd 1st RND pick, and will be well worth it!

ctw724ParticipantThey need a SG/SF with size and athleticism, who plays both ends of the floor. Why not him?
