    I see a Nash, Lin and Dragic triangle forming between 4 team(Mavericks, Knicks, Raptors and Rockets)

    I think if the Rockets offer Lin a poison pill deal then the Knicks should let him walk and contact Dragic. Nash can then go to the Raptors or Mavericks.

    Lin can sign that deal and Knicks wont match.

    Knicks work out a sign and trade for Dragic sending(Douglas, Jordan, Gadzuric and cash getting Dragic’s deal close to 9mil starting salary. I know you’re saying they dont wanna over pay Lin why Dragic but Dragic’s deal wont go over 12mil while Lin will make 15mil+ each of his last 2 years

    Nash can go home and play for his country for real. The Mavericks can then grab Jose Calderon after being waived by Toronto and move forward on to their next plan.

    Calderon/Beaubois/Marion/Nowitski/Mahinmi

    Raptors

    Nash/Derozan/Fields/Bargnani/Valanciunas

    Rockets

    Lin/Lamb/Parsons/Patterson/Asik

    Knicks

    Dragic/Smith/Anthony/Stoudemire/Chandler

    I think each situation is the best for all parties involved

    Your assuming the Knicks have anything the Rockets want in a sign and trade.

    Nash sounds like he wants to play for the Knicks as per the latest news but he needs a sign and trade with Phx for that to happen, and again… Knicks aren’t exactly flush with desirable players or contracts that Phx would be interested in. The one Pawn the Knicks had was Landry Feilds who the Raps just poison pilled.

    Dragic at 9mil per is crazy… Let that be a lesson to all you amateur GM’s out there. The Suns pulled a draft night trade with the Spurs to secure his rights a few years back with the intention of having Dragic be Nash’s replacement when the time came. However, the Suns gave up while Dragic was maturing and traded him to Houston as a throw in where he put it all together. Now Phx wants him back after his value has exploded and they’ll have to pay through the nose for it.

    The Knicks are going to match anything Lin gets… case closed. Lin sells tickets and NYer’s are all about the benjamins.

     Nash and Lin are both going to end up in NYK IMO unless Houston decides to go big and offer Lin more than 10 a year(which I don’t think NYK will match. In which case I’d guess that Kidd ends up signing with them to play the 2 beside of Nash as the 2 guard defender(which he has become quite good at since he lost his pg quicks) who will be the playmaking spot up shooter so many teams are relying on these ays. Resign JR Smith to be the explosive scoring backup. Kidd may even play some backup 1 if Davis doesn’t return.
