Who could be in running for Blake Griffin? At the end of the draft I feel Like Blake won’t be with the Clippers as the Clippers always find away to screw things up. Could we see a duo of Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose?

In a Thyrus Thomas, Kirt Hinrich and the number 16? It’s interesting, but I don’t think it’s enough. I don’t know what phoneix would give p so i really don’t see it happening. They really didn’t want to move stoudemire within the conference despite almost getting a deal with memphis done.

If the bulls aren’t giving up Derrick Rose for Blake, even the clippers wouldn’t make a stupid mistake like that

Building off of hwat auber said, why not throw in the 26 pick and next years 1st rounder. that will probably not be enough, but it is something the clippers might entertain

I don’t see anyone being that idiotic, even the Clips.

Maybe they’ll trade Randolph for Jason Richardson.

I wouldn’t mind a Tyrus Thomas trade for Blake Griffin–And I think both teams would gain by the trade–the advantage would be with the Clippers because of the 3 years of NBA experience that Thomas has. Both atheletes have unlimited potential and are about the same size. Thomas could use the coaching a big man needs, and that the Bulls don’t have. Griffin already does not need the coaching that Thomas does need, because he was in college longer. The Clippers might even get another player out of the draft who also has potential.

that would be a dump trade and thomas doesnt have unlimited potential..hes athletic thats pretty much it hes only gotten slightly better every year pts year 1 5 year 2 6 year 3 9 rebs year 1 3 year 2 4 year 3 6 and blocks have stayed the same

I think the clippers are going to draft blake griffin and not trade the pick. It would be the smart thing to do, unless a team throws their whole kitchen sink 4 them, which I dont see happening. Well, maybe Rudy Gay, Mike Conley, and Hakim Warrick will be the kitchen sink, who could resist that many pieces?

If you don’t like people discussing Griffin trade ideas then go back to checking out the Jonas Brothers site you like so much! This a draft website and that’s what we do! If I were the Clippers GM, I would take a good look at what people might offer. I suggested and idea under the thread “Clippers trade thought” that I think would be good for them, and there might be better ones out there. One of the best things about the draft is that GM’s sometimes freak out a little bit and offer too much for picks… it’s the best time to squeeze as much as you can out from other teams because everyone (us draftheads and GMs)get excited at all the possibilities… more than anything I’m just saying it’s important to listen to all the offers…

Comments like “clippers are not that dumb to trade Griffin” make no sense to me. Any player is tradeable, whether the trade is dumb or not depends on what you get back.

dude, ur comment is the one that does not make sense. no one is offering lebron for #1. the #1 is not going to be traded.

woah chill dude.. @Johneco i just consider griffin to be the lifeline that the clippers need to ressurect their franchise… he’s too important for their future to trade for anything….

trading griffin away is trading away thousands of season tickets, numerous future playoff trips and a future hall of famer… big call on the last one but thats how good this kid can be…

    and at KevinDurantrocks,
quit hating on my team and their draft history…. you cant say our last two first round picks have worked out to be flops… quite the opposite=bonafide legit scorers in thornton and gordon…clippers management are getting better at making decisions and drafting better players for a stronger future…

theres my rant for the day…

Both teams do good. That’s what makes it more exciting! Love the coach on how they handle their own teams.

As a Bulls fan I would trade anyone they wanted except Rose for Griffin. Thomas has enormous talent but no brain. He’s not coachable. He should be in the paint, yet always takes and usually misses 15 foot jumpers. The Clippers are the Clippers for doing boneheaded moves, so it is possible. As a Bulls fan I hope it happens, but it will not,

I would be Stupified, if the Clippers traded the #1 pick to the Bulls. I just can’t see that happening.
