Don’t like the pick C’s. Got to take Jones there. They failed to get more athletic wich does not help Rondo. Not a fan of Melo at all.

agree with everything you just said about getting athletic, but melo makes up for sully’s inconsistencies at D and they get a legit 7 footer

This was a great pick, Garnett has said he doesn’t want to play C full-time, this allows him to move back to the 4, Melo was good value at 22nd. I think the Celtics nailed this draft.

Perry can definitely help but with Melo, they have a legitimate post defender who has potential. He’ll definitely learn much if Garnett is going to be resigned. I think they still have Jeff Green whos a restricted free agent who can play back up to Pierce and the PF position

Melo will end up the starting center with KG at the 4, and they bring a post presence off the bench to help manage KGs minutes. Sullinger has natural scoring ability and has the size to defend (any bench pf)/clog the paint.

Celtics got big man depth, something they have desperately needed.
