KHAM83ParticipantIm in Atl now, and Im trying to be a home town fan. With Houston’s interest in Josh Smith, which I think is more than just a D12 magnet, do you see Houston willing to do this deal?
Kevin Martin/#12 pick for Josh Smith?
If they then move Lowry to Tor for #8 they can still get Drummond.
Hawks will target Leanord at 12 and Melo at 23.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWe’re better off signing Josh Smith at the end of the season and using Kevin Martin + picks as trade bait for Dwight.

BlackMamba24ParticipantWhy would anybody want Melo. He is so overrated, plus you dont trade josh Smith for a pick and take a center and then 11 picks later draft another center, that is just stupid.

BlackMamba24ParticipantLike I care if i get negative pts. Sad you ppl dont know how to evaluate a talent. Why draft a guy in the first rd that cant score. Im sure you were the ones that said Daniel Orton was a great talent too. How did that work out….Stupid nigs

AKOOParticipantWould not trade Smith for that weak package. Kevin Martin is a FA like Josh after next year and they have no use for him as Joe is too weak of a rebounder to move to SF permanently so Martin would be Jamal Crawford for the Hawks at best and the Hawks are not going to pay him what he wants. So, you are essentially trading Josh for #12 and that is a joke. Houston did all that side show stuff for nothing.
