cuseflynn10ParticipantIf Clevenad has to choose at #4 between MKG and Barnes, who do they take and why?
I’m guessing Davis, Robinson, and Beal will be the top 3 picks. Then MKG or Barnes at 4. And I would not be surprised to see Drummond at #5 in a trade with Houston. If Drummond goes #5 to Houston or Sacramento, Portland would probably go with Lillard causing one of MKG and Barnes to fall out of the top 6, where they were once considered a lock.
I think Barnes is better for Cleveland short term, but in the long run MKG may be the better fit in Cleveland. Does anyone have any sources that may say who their leaning towards if they do in fact keep the pick?

Probasketballdraft @Probballdraft According to source the Cavaliers are locked in on Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Not to say CLE wouldn’t draft Brad Beal but prefer MKG to Barnes.

Jason_GrayParticipantI like Barnes better because he’ll be able to spread the floor for Irving — especially for the drive and kick. MGK will just create problems for a point guard like Irving because teams are going to sag off him and clog the lane… Barnes just make their offense more diverse. They don’t really need a player of high motor like MGK anyway with Anderson on the team. No saying he wouldn’t work (MGK), just not a the best fit between the two….

inbedwithyomamaParticipantMaybe it’s just me, but I gotta feeling #4 will belong to Charlotte by the end of the night(with Cleveland moving up to #2 to take Beal). But if Cleveland keeps it………….wow, tough call but I’d give the slight edge to Barnes. I know Cleveland’s been high on him for a while now, at least from what I’ve been hearing.
