Wahoo757ParticipantCleveland brought in Terrence Ross today for a last minute individual workout. Rumors have been that the Cavaliers like him and are going to try to target him on draft day now that trading up for Beal doesn’t seem like a possibility.
Who do you think a willing trade partner with Cleveland would be? I don’t like doing trade ideas but perhaps Portland would be interested so they can get Drummond and Lillard at 4 and 6? So maybe Cleveland sends 4 and Portland sends 11 so Cleveland can get Ross there and Cleveland also gets a future 1st round pick. Thoughts?

Wahoo757ParticipantNever mind, I thought I misspoke but I had it right the 1st time.

TyroberParticipantCavs go from 4 to 11 and all they ask for is a future #1? One of the worst trades ever……

Wahoo757ParticipantThat’s why I don’t float trade ideas usually because I’m not good with pick values, but you still get my idea. Cleveland sends 4 for Portland’s 11 and something else.

Codyb1701ParticipantFrom what I’ve been reading Cleveland knows now they can’t trade pick 4 and 33 to get #2 for Beal so now thye are locked in on Barnes at 4 and are trying to trade #24, #33, and/or #34 to get to somewhere in the 10-14 range to get Ross also.

220ParticipantTerrence Ross seems to be the guy a ton of teams are interested in. I’ve heard that Golden State, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Cleveland, and others really want to bring him in. Don’t know what will happen, but it will be interesting.

WolfRobParticipantKyrie.
T.Ross.
Barnes.
Tristan.
Who would enjoy watching Lebron battle Cleveland in the Eastern Conference finals in a couple years?

MikezParticipantThe only possible trade down I see for the Cavs is 4 for 6 and 11 which isn’t going to happen, I say they’re trading up and shipping out Varejao.
And right now is the best time deal out Varejao, if you trade him mid season where the demand is higher for him, your going to get a crappier pick (25-30)

BleedingBlueParticipantI’m sorta hoping that they’ll trade down to around the 10th-12th pick and get Austin Rivers, forming the ultimate Duke backcourt.

GrandmamaParticipantI was thinking about Cleveland trading down with Golden State the other day. Cleveland trades 4th overall to GS for 7th/30th/35th.
Reason for Cleveland, they need depth. There are going to be some quality prospects at the end of the first, beginning of the second round. They also have number 24, so if they made this trade with GS and wanted to move up to the late teens, that would also be a possibility.
Reason for Golden State, they are already a pretty deep team. They are said be be looking to upgrade at the SF position looking to deal Dorell Wright, and it looks like both Barnes and MKG will be available at 4. I like Barnes more as a prospect, and would be a great fit in Golden St.
GS if they drafted Barnes;

Codyb1701Participantbut cavs GM allready said he does non want more then 3 rookies, they allread have 4 and that trade would make it 6, they are trying to use there two seconds with the 24 to move up and only have 2 rookies.
