jhbm24ParticipantYou guys think he would work well there? He could be the main ball handler with jameer, jj, and Ryan Anderson all spotting up, with him and Dwight running the pick n roll or Royce can just create for everyone. What do you guys think?

B-ball fanParticipantIf Royce White is going to succeed, it will be as a team’s primary ball handler, probably for their second unit. He is a very ineffective player without the ball in his hands as he doesn’t move well without the ball and can’t shoot, but he possesses some elite skills on the offensive end. He is a very strong ball handler who is an elite passer of the dribble. Many pgs aren’t as effective throwing passes off the dribble. The problem with White is that he has to be a very effective point forward/post up threat to succeed in the NBA. He has too many holes in the rest of his game.
It may be worth a try for the Magic, as they don’t have any elite playmakers. Turkoglu is declining and Nelson is effective playing off the ball. If they are committed to trading Howard, they could do for a rebuilding/tanking year and giving White the ball when he is in the game.

SubZeroParticipantHe could potentially fill the position that Hedo Turkoglu played in their Finals run a couple years ago. Hedo’s not capable of playing on that high of a level anymore and Royce could fill that need

larryfiskenParticipantSounds good if he can overcome his issues, its no doubt about the talent he possesses, but will head ever get straight? As a magic fan i like the idea, but since Howard is most likely gone i really dont know what the magic shoul do before that problem is resolved.
