    Year 3 for me at the mock draft game and I’m trying to repeat my success in 2010. I’m only doing 2 mocks this year, this one and my final one the night before the draft. I was hoping to get some critiques and help with this draft so I have enough information before posting my final one. So here it goes.

    going to Dallas is an interesting pick. I’m not saying it’s a bad pick in any way, just saying it would interesting to see how he develops there because they have their superstar so PJIII wouldn’t feel the pressure to be the man like he did at Baylor and Dallas may be losing alot of their FA so there is playing time to be had. Personally, I would take Terrance Jones over Perry Jones but it would be interesting to see.

    Personally, I’d like to see PJIII go to Dallas. He’s in a flux right now where he doesn’t quite know which position he’s playing and it’s going to take him being on the court to figure that out. As evident by the combine results, he prefers to play SF, but being 6’11" is just too good of an opportunity to be a dominant big in the NBA to be wasted on playing SF. Dallas needs good young players to replace their aging starters. I could see PJIII being Dirk’s eventual replacement at PF if he decided to play that position, or could replace Marion at the SF spot, even overtaking it sooner than later.
