somehow falls to them, I would take him immediately. He is a lottery type talent that won’t go in the lottery due to coming out early. Both Chalmers and Cole could hold down the position while Teague develops. Then in 2-3 years start Teague, have Cole or Chalmers as the back up, and trade the other.

Miami has already shown that a line up of Bosh at C, Lebron at PF and Battier at 3 (but guarding 4’s) is very productive for them, so I don’t feel that drafting a Center is an absolute must for this team.

While it would be nice to get Melo in the draft…Miami has so many other options.  They can easily pick up a pretty good sized player who is already in the league.  There may be too much other talent to pass up when the Heat pick, like Quincy Miller for instance.   Either Mike Miller or James Jones will probably not be back, if not both…so they will need some shooting.  Jenkins, D. Lamb could be potential fits.   Jared Cunningham is an athlete that could be a nice player in their system and I think Draymond Green is almost perfect for them.  All that to say that the Heat won by playing small so they dont have to go big, they can go in a lot of directions.  However, I do not see Teague lasting til 27th.
