ChrisCrossParticipantWho do you think is the best current player without a title.
I would say Durant, but he’s still too young to harp on for not winning a title.
So I would say Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Deron Williams
Dwight won’t win one for a while if he stay’s he Orlando, sad truth.
Paul and the Clippers need to a few more players before they become contenders.
Carmelo should have never left Denver, with NY’s limit cap space, Amare’s rapid decline, I doubt he wins one, unless it comes late in his career.
Deron not sure where he’ll play, if he goes to Dallas, I think they have a shot of winning one.

B-ball fanParticipantI think Durant is the best without a title. He can’t really be blamed for that, but nobody without a title is better than him.

PHILA9ParticipantI know he isn’t what he used to be but I would love to see Steve Nash get a ring..

HaleParticipantDurant, because he’s imo the 2nd best player in the NBA today.

bloodshyParticipantDurant. LBJ is the best player in the game. Durant is a few lengths back as the clear #2. The #3 is way back trying to avoid getting lapped by these two. Since Durant hasn’t won a title and LBJ has, he’s clearly the best player without a title.
All-time, I’d go with Malone or Stockton. Malone was one of the best post players in history and arguably the best PF in history (or Duncan) and finished his career 2nd all-time in scoring. Stockton’s assists and steals numbers are completely unreachable by anyone in today’s NBA. They will probably never be broken. He played 19 years, was rarely injured, and averaged 10.5 apg and 2.2 spg over that ridiculously long career. To put that spg rate in perspective: Over the last three years, the average "steals leader" has averaged 2.3 spg when they won. In 06-07, the NBA’s leader averaged 2.1 spg. Stockton’s 2.2 spg career average included three years as a bench warmer and four post-surgery years that went until he was 40.

Ghost01ParticipantI think the only players without titles that I EXPECT to do so are KD, Rose, and Dwight. And only Dwight because that’s how hes built himself up.

MagikKnickParticipantIts Durant, but im not a fan of throwing Durant into this conversation…hes too young, first rings for impactful players usually come in their later 20s, early 30s
I’d go Steve Nash
