with a week to go until the draft, the only feasible player they’ve brought into town for a workout is Ross ?  They’ve looked at no-one since last Friday ?  Are they dumping that pick or packaging it ?  With all the talk of a big – there’s been no Jones, Moultrie or anyone…except a parade of second rounders or guys who will go unfdrafted

How many 3’s do you need on a team with hardly a serviceable 4 or 5 ?

But, if you are from Philly, here is a banger that just came out from Vinnie Paz. My boy Scott from Action Recon posted this and I think it is from Vinnie’s new album "God of the Serengeti". Vinnie reps Philadelphia to the fullest, it is called "Cheesesteaks":

The only potential players they brought in for their 15th pick is Terrence Ross, Mo Harkless, and Quincy Miller. Thats pathetic compaired to last year when they brought in tons of potential first rounders.

No big men, just one SG, and two SF. However I really think Philly can start Lavoy Allen and bring Thad Young off the bench and let them splitt time at PF.

But If Philly trades for the 7/8th pick thats when I believe they pick Terrence Ross. Then take a PF/C with the 15th pick. Because they need a SG that opperates off the ball like Terrence Ross, not a Dion Waiters or Jeramy Lamb because we have ET and Jrue handling the ball.

I have always liked him going to Philly. Would they take a chane witg Sullinger at 15 too? I see Moultrie as the safer pick. A sleeper pick could be Draymond Green.

from what im hearing from philly is that they’re bringing in Moultrie and that he looks like the front runner at their pick. they also tell me that Doug Collins is the one most in charge of this pick, and he supposedly likes the mental training Arnet received in Missipi State, same college the philidelphia eagles took their first round selection from, Fletcher Cox. as far as fits goes, he’s very complementary to what they’re trying to build. fits their need for size and depth at the front court, fits their fast pace style with his athletic gifts, and fits with their need of a big who has the tools to be a good help side defender.

Draymond Green at 15th? Not even Tom Izzo thinks he should go that high.

is a high basketball IQ guy and Collins likes those types. He isnt much of a banger like Moultrie but could add some good character guys in the locker room. He likely wont land that high, but Im sure hes on their list.

Im sure he is on their list….of guys they would consider taking with the 45th pick. No way any team in that range considers taking Green when players with a much higher ceiling like Henson, Moultrie, Terrancee Jones, Harkless, PJ3, and even Royce White will be around if they are looking for another versatile forward he has much more upside. The sixers know that adding one more role player for next year is not going to make a huge difference on a young good but nowhere near great team. They will most likely take a shot at one of the higher risk and reward players and I hope it turns out to be PJ3.

I have them taking Sullinger at this point but he is falling. I thought about Henson there if he falls in a Sam Dalembert role. Terrance Ross would be super nice there. I think Philly needs to let Iggy go. He keeps them in the hunt for 6 to 8 seeds but they need to turn it over to Evan Turner.

Im not saying Green deserves to go that high, but apparently teams like his skill set and what he can offer. If I was Philly and Henson, Moultrie or Sullinger are there, then go with that group. Green will get picked first round, that Im pretty certain about.

I think he has about a 50% chance of going in the first round. This site has him 33rd. I have seen other mocks that have him going to either the heat or the thunder at the end of the first round. Obviously teams like his skill set because he is one of the most skilled big men in this draft but his lack of size and athleticism keep him from being a lottery pick. Seeing as how this is a pretty deep draft when it comes to forwards Philly will have no reason to even have him or their radar selecting 15th.

Ive heard that Atlanta likes him at 23. He would ne a nice addition to backup Josh Smith and maybe even overtake Marvin Williams at the 3.

This is all speculation. I could be wrong, or I could be right. No big deal either way ha

    I guess I wont mention sleeper picks again..sheesh :/

Not for my Sixers because if they would make that pick I would pack my bags and get out of the city. Maybe the Hawks like him at 23 but that doesn’t mean the Sixers would at 15. I am not trying to give you a hard time but you keep defending your response. We all could be right or wrong and it is not a big deal…that is obvious…but if you continue to keep defending your stupidity then you should be prepared to be butthurt.

During their vocation the Philadelphia Phillies has indulge in some funny incidents. One of the most unlucky and rather funny episodes was when the team won 3 matches next to the Dodgers and was hypothetical to win the whole title; they took a smash and lost the after that 10 games to become scum of the season.
