The Wizards should’ve packaged the 3rd pick, Rashard Lewis, and the 46th pick, to the Warriors for Andris Biedrins, Dorrell Wright, and the 7th pick…At 7, the Wizards would’ve still been in position to draft a 2 guard like Jeremy Lamb, Austin Rivers, or Dion Waiters…With the 3rd pick, the Warriors would’ve chose between Barnes or Gilchrist, both teams would’ve won

Andris Biendrins & Dorrell Wright is way more younger and talented than Okafor & Ariza

Okafor and Ariza are both better than their counter parts in your trade scenario.

How is Biedrins better than Okafor.  We can look at the stats and it would be a joke.  How is Wright better than Ariza?

Ariza has a ring or more playoff experience and I am pretty sure their stats are close.

Andris Biedris and his 1.7 ppg and 2.7 rpg last season is NOT enough for the Wizards to let go of their 3rd pick even if they get the 7th pick in return. I’m still iffy on the trade that Wizards pulled off today but that trade was a lot better than this one.

I liked the trade. They finally got some intelligent, stable players on their roster now with the addition of those 2 and Nene, not to mention getting rid of Rashard Lewis’s awful contract. This can only help John Wall

I would of like them to ship Blatch along with him.

It’s all about John Wall. They have to make him happy. If he leaves it sets back the franchise 6-8 years easy. Alot of people have already said it (and I agree) that Wall did not make as much of an improvement from last year to this year then they (I) was hoping for.

Hopefully, going from being on a team that was one of the lowest in both average age of players and average basketball IQ of players to a team with veteren players who play like consistant professionals. Does Nene, Okafor and Ariza make them a playoff team? Probably not, but it could kickstart John Wall’s development which should be the main concern of this franchise.

Lewis’ contract is not bad its expiring and half guaranteed. That statement was true last season. People are saying the Wiz are now destined for mediocrity but they have added 2 solid (overpaid)role players. They have a superstar in John Wall and a top 3 pick. They could of done worse(see trade above) but have added 2 solid players for cap space they couldn’t use to sign a marquee free agent.

whatever trade they made should’ve included Blatche, he’s talented but he doesn’t have a clue at times.
