Mocks

 We don’t know who is lying or telling the truth. I know I do mocks because I enjoy guessing where I think prospect end up and be good fits. It is almost like I am a GM for each team for a moment. 🙂 All you can do in a mock is put together information you know like team needs, upcoming free agents, prior drafting strategies, etc. 

 Lol. No I don’t do them. That’s just my opinion. The guys that work on the mocks here don’t post much. I’m pretty sure they update the mock based off their opinions though and I know they are connected enough to have their own sources. They are confident in their sources. Example, last year Texas freshman Tristan Thompson entered the draft but later most basketball sites said it was a mistake. Nbadraft.net held firm to their source and they were correct. 

It’s all a big guessing game. Even the professionals who make mock drafts aren’t that accurate. Every once in a while a team tips their hat, like the Hawks when they picked Shelden Williams. They wanted him and everyone knew they wanted him…most people also knew it was a horrid pick, but they did it anyway.
