He will stay in spain if the right team doesn’t draft him, it seems he won’t spend his own money to play in a place like Memphis or Oklahoma City from what I just read.

If I was him I would use that as leverage because it would be dumb for some of those teams to draft him.

His agent is the same dude that tried to fix Yi Jianlian’s situation a few years back. How is that guy still finding work?

I really want to see Rubio in Oklahoma City. His agent can suck a d***.

back up westbrook? Ricky Rubio back up Russell Westbrook? really? thats funny. The Knicks will mae the deal work, to move up and take Ricky. Dantoni will give up anyone on his roster to get ricky. Ricky will have no prob offensively in nba, defense will take a year or 2 before is real good but playing next 2 larry hughes the best defensive sg in the nba will make up for it.

i understand not wanting to go to memphis but why not okc, they have Durant,Green, and Westbrook thats a great situation if he can join them,he would benefit greatly because he is most successful in a run n gun style and those are 3 great finishers and running mates for him.

But it’s also how effective will that lineup be with Westbrook at the 2? I think OKC needs to hope to get Thabeet or swing a deal for a big. They can have Thabo at the 2 (he’s not a beast offensively, but the fact he’s 6’7″, can guard 1 thru 3, can dribble helps), they could also develop Westbrook off the ball similar to Monta with Thabo or Weaver in there (not a full-time thing, but see if that works).

If Rubio pulls out, things should be a bit clearer.

he stays in the draft. Either team will be good in the future if they keep everything together, but this kid is use to winning everytime he steps on the court. He wants a bigger market to promote himself and make more money and that’s why he won’t pay too much. In L.A or Sac he’d make a whole bunch of money to cover him buying out his own deal, but in OKC and Memphis it isn’t that much of a marketing place.

The kings should trade their pick and Beno to the griz for either Buckner or Jaric and the # 2. It adds up financially. The griz can take Hill which is a need for them a PF and get a quality back up and someone who can spot start incase of injuries. Kings get Rubio and better defense with buckner or jaric, who at the moment i really can’t think of anything good to say about, but he makes the sallaries work. What you guys think?

maybe that deal could work biggafisch. I don’t see why anyone would be opposed to it. They get a savy veteran in Beno for Memphis in case Conley struggles and get rid of Jaric and Bucker who play the 2 and 3 and Memphis already has Mayo and Gay. Then they could still get Hill as you said for their Power Forward and he could come in and start or back-up Arthur. This deal actually makes some sense. Rubio gets drafted by Sac and he’s happy and so is Memphis.

thats funny why?…how many games have you actually watched him play?…me five not including olympics..im guessing you only have watched you tube clips and olympics in which he he avg 4pts 3ast 2 turnovers…or you just cosigning what you hear other people praise him on..in spain he comes off the bench most of the times and has huge problems with the american guards( louis bullock tarq deam chris thomas)…so what type of problems you think hes gonna have wit the nba point guards.?..hes in no strech of the imagination better then westbrook right now..future maybe but i still doubt it..eventually he will be a good player but starting out hes not comming in just dominate..he doesnt even dominate in his leauge now..he leads the leauge in ast wit 6 but he also leads all of spain in turnovers..most of the praise he gets on d is when he is defending a euro guard who is not as quick strong or athletic as the guards he will be faceing….so yes back up westbrook

I think it would be more fun to watch them play together. I know fun isn’t what always wins games but it would be exciting for the fans.
