Lotto StudParticipantFeel free to add more to the list but do any of the following get traded on draft night?
- Rudy Gay
- Andre Iguodala
- Tyreke Evans
- O.J. Mayo

Lotto StudParticipantIt would be interesting to see Rudy Gay land in Charlotte.

Meditated StatesParticipantSend him to Boston. He been asking for it for two years straight.

FUNKYBUNCHParticipantI think Iggy out of that list.
Don’t count out anybody on the trading block though. Many players out there. Kyle Lowry, Kevin Martin, Luis Scola from HOU alone, Jose Calderone’s possible, Danny Granger- I think Iggy might be the biggest possibility though. He can go to CHA, GS, or TOR.

FUNKYBUNCHParticipantIs anyone else sick of the Spiderman advertisement?! CHEEZ! Listening to jams on here and BOOM Spiderman again! ARRRGH!
Scout- you are right- Josh Smith is another possibility…

Lotto StudParticipantI doubt Philly will trade Iggy within the division.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantSo I don’t know how that would work, maybe a sign and trade(although that almost never happens during the draft)
If you were to include other RFA’s that could be moved for draft picks then I’ll add
Micheal Beasley
Darren Collison
Lou Williams
Eric Gordon
But I agree Josh Smith, Iggy, Danny Granger and Rudy Gay could all be moved for high picks(the Warriors and Raptors would love any of these players for their Top 10 picks) I’m sire someone will be moved though, I’m starting to get the feeling someone like Zac Randolph or Kevin Martin may be on their way out too…Pau Gasol has to be moved this offseason and I’m sure the Lakers would love getting one of the players mentioned in this thread…
I just can’t wait until the draft and Free Agent period, that’s one of the most interesting periods in all of sports…

Sewok15ParticipantLou Williams is an unrestricted FA. He opted out of his deal so hopefully the Sixers can bring him back but it isn’t looking good…that is why the Sixers were working out guards when it looks like they would have been in need of a big man more.

r377Participantlink Dwight Howard is still seeking a trade, according to beat writer Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel. We feel inclined to point out that Schmitz also recently just authored and released an e-book called "Dwightmare," so you can read into that what you will. Regardless, it’s become clear that the only thing we can expect from Howard this offseason is continued waffling and indecision as it relates to his future in Orlando. This situation is anything but resolved.

TyroberParticipantI thought Gay would be traded, but who knows with new ownership now. Could completely change things.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantBobcats get their # 1 option/star in Rudy Gay and the Grizzlies get Harrison Barnes/MKG or Brad Beal to score within the system, plus the Grizzlies would be saving money if they took back Corey Maggette(who could help score off the bench for Memphis)
The Bobcats would have a scoring Pg/Sg in Kemba, and a Scoring Sf in Rudy at Sg/Sf, they have two active bigs in Biyombo and Thomas along with a decent Sg in Gerald Henderson…
They need to try to get some value in the late first or early 2nd round…They have to try to maybe add a solid Center like Ezeli and maybe take a chance on Tony Wroten Jr. or Jared Cunningham…A solid Sf like Draymond Green wouldn’t be to shabby either if they could swing it somehow…
Ifg I were The Bobcat GM I would like the idea of trading the 2nd pick for Rudy Gay
Then I would look to draft the defensive C Festus Ezeli and a scorer off the bench like Wroten Jr/Cunningham with a second 2nd round pick via Trade(Cleveland, Portland, Philadelphia and Toronto have multiple 2nd round picks)
So If the Bobcats offer a future pick plus cash they could get one of the Cavs, Blazers, Raptors or Sixers 2nd round picks, which could be Ezeli/Wroten/Cunningham or Other…
The Bobcats would have a solid core Gay, Walker, Thomas,Biyombo, Henderson, Ezeli, Wroten/Cunningham…Still a lottery team, but closer to being a playoff then drafting a rookie and rebuilding from ground zero…

220ParticipantIsn’t OJ Mayo a restricted free agent?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/15/2012 - 6:57pm #682370
NJBrown5ParticipantWhile I wouldn’t mind seeing Gay and Walker together on the same team (I’m all for reuniting UConn players in the pros, even though it hasn’t worked out for Charlie V, Ben Gordon, and/or Rip Hamilton in Detroit), I don’t know if Charlotte’s going to trade the pick for a "vet". Rich Cho, Charlotte’s GM, has been very persistant in saying that building a team is a process, and making trades for players in their primes isn’t going to help in the long run. It will only help Charlotte become a fringe lottery team that ruins their chances of drafting future potential stars. While Gay is an amazing athlete, and he would really help Charlotte all-around, it would really pinch them salary cap wise, and MJ doesn’t want to do that. He and Cho want a new wave of Bobcats to learn, grow, and play cohesively as a group, not be mediocre year after year.
Whatever happens, Cho knows what he’s doing; he helped build OKC to the powerhouse that they are now by building through the draft (Durant, which then lead to Westbrook and Harden). He’s been very adament about sticking by that method, as he’s seen it pay off slowly but surely for OKC, and now Portland, where he was GM before going to Charlotte.
…I do wonder, though, if two superstars might simply swap teams, like Iggy and Gay. Philly needs a go-to scorer (Gay) and Memphis still wants to play through ZBo, which would take pressure off Iggy and allow him and Tony Allen to wreck havoc on defense. Iggy will still average 15/16 ppg on fast break dunks alone, similar to what Gay did this season.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantI think Iguodala is most likely to move. Philly has gotten interviews & workouts with players whoare top 10 worthy, they have to have something lined up where they can move Iggy to get higher and take one of those guys or else they wouldn’t bother.

ballaj334Participantdwight howard!
nets-brook lopez gerald wallace plus there first round in return get dwight
another idea which i think would be a good draft day trade russel westbrook for deron williams
okc gets a poin guard who can score but has the ability to run the one at a high level and get teamates involved
brooklyn gets a two guard in westbrook who can be a scorer at will with no scrutiny and have dwight in the middle

FearTheStacheParticipantgerald wallace opted out, so he is not under net contract right now. nets don’t have a first rounder this year

AKOOParticipantProbably no-one. We have heard this thing about players like Josh Smith and Iggy for the last 3 years or so. Monta Ellis finally got traded so we can take his name off of this list that looks the same every year.
