phxguyParticipantWhat do you guys think the Twolves are going to do at 6. Harden, Evans, Derozan? Or Jennings. I would pick one of the first three and try to get a PG at 18.

llperezDeRozan would be a solid pick. Both of those guys can become all-star caliber wings. With Correy Brewer still a question mark and Mike Miller coming off the bench either of those guys could be a solid pick.

knicksfreakParticipantThey have Foye. I think he can play the point. They should pick Earl Clark at 6 and go for Ellington at 18 to complement Foye’s slashing ability with his shooting touch. They would then have a solid core in

PF-Jefferson
SF-Clark
SG-Ellington
PG-FoyeThat would be an interesting team in 3 years.
OR…
Get Clark or Harden with 6 and pick up Mullens or Johnson at 18
Clark + Mullens or Harden +Johnson
That would be very solid

RoBx3ParticipantI say get Jennings before the warriors gobble him up at 7, think of a pick and roll with Jennings and jefferson, thats just SICKK…It could remind alot of ppl of the Twolves when they had Garnett and marbury, Although jennings is more of a true point than marbury which is good…Then at 18 get a Center or Small Forward, BJ Mullens maybe a Al faruq Aminu, there will be a ton of solid players at 18, but at 6 get a guy like jennings who can run the team, put people in the stands, and has all the abilty to me a superstar in the league

RickyRubio9Participanta shooting guard unless they plan to make Foye their 2 guard then you go with Jennings and put Brewer to the bench and start Miller at the 3. Jennings, Foye, Miller, Love, and Jefferson as your starting lineup. 6th man – Brewer and you also have Telfair coming off the bench. It isn’t too shabby.

Harden should be their first choice, but I’m torn on Jennings or DeRozen if Harden is gone.

MasrockWhich gives them a lot pick flexibility. Harden, DeRozan, or Jennings pretty much has to be it. Anyone else, other than maybe Evans, is the wrong pick.

MasrockThe Wolves would probably have to throw both the 18 and the 28 to make it happen. Is Ricky Rubio really better than James Harden and Eric Maynor, though? I question that.

phxguyParticipantProblem with Jennings is you then would pair him with Foye and that’s a very small backcourt. They are already undersized with Jefferson and Love at the 5/4. I think they need a bigger guard. I like DeRozan at 6 and a PG at 18. Make Foye a deadly 6th man would be ideal. Foye simply isn’t a starting PG and gets killed by big/althetic SGs.

butidonthavemoneyGood point. If they can’t make a play for Rubio they should go for Harden/DeRozen at 6, and Holiday/Maynor at 18.
Go small forward at 28. Damion James, Terrence Williams, Sam Young, Derrick Brown, Chase Budinger or Austin Daye. One of those guys should be available.

claryadParticipantStarting Al and Love at 4/5 is not the solution. They are both undersized and way under average defenders. They need a solid big and are set up to fire sale their underwhelming team after this season. I am looking to 2010 free agency and Chris Bosh.
Having a premier ball handler in this league goes a long way. I have not seen enough of brandon Jennings to respect his game, but coming out of Memphis Evans reminds me of a young D-Wade.
My ideal draft is Evans, Mullens, Mills.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantCAN play PG… just not well. Any person who says Foye is the future running the point is conceding the fact that they didn’t watch a Twolves game all year. (and who can blame them)
the Twolves were AWFUL for the first 2 months of the season… because Foye was PG. They went on their (relative) run when McHale took over because he moved Foye off the ball. Foye has the handles to play PG but putting him there does not maximize his abilities… he’s a back-up PG at best….
The T-wolves are so bad that they need to snag the best guy available at 6, regardless of position/need. If it’s Hill or Harden than so be it, even if they play the same position as MN’s two best players, Al (PF) and Foye(SG). If Harden falls to us I’d be ecstatic.
