Tyreke Evans for Joakim Noah?

Bulls get a ball handler and a score first guard to replace Rose for the year and could draft Drummond as a replacement for Noah. It seems like a great trade if they can resign Asik.

Only problem is I don’t see Rose and Evans complimenting each other well when Rose comes back from his injury. Rose needs a SG that can shoot to space out the floor for him. They’ll probably end up trading Evans in the long run but at least he’s way better than any other SG on their roster.

I don’t know how I’d like Rose and Evans playing together.  Neither play great off-ball and they’re not great outside shooters. 

I think it would be a bit of a panic deal by Chicago.  Even with Evans, the Bulls are unlikely to contend for a championship.  The #5 pick is not likely to produce a superior player to Noah.  It is possible, but not probable.  I don’t think Evans and Rose fit well next to each other and their is no point in just renting Evans if they aren’t going to the finals anyways.  Maybe they think Evans and Rose could make a good tandem, but I must admit I am skeptical.

the Kings to trade Tyreke already.  He had injuries in his sophomore year then last year was a lockout season with no training camp and preseason.  And not to mention that the team changed coaches 7 games into a condensed schedule.  Oh, he’s 22 yrs old as well. 

 great deal for the kings. tyreke is too much of a ball stopper. getting rid of tyreke will be an addition by subtraction. also they get a hardworking player who can finish around the rim in noah. and he will push cousins on a daily basis to help him reach his potential. the only downside on this trade is that they give up the 5th pick. But Overall i like this trade for the kings. this could help out the bulls too. have tyreke roses position until he gets back and they get the 5th pick. I think it for sure works out for the kings, but if the bulls take this trade I feel like it would be a boom or bust situation for them

 That excites me as a Bulls fan. Only if they could get Drummond though. 

 If I were to trade Reke it wouldnt be for a center it would be for a SF. Honestly, i’d like to see him with the Kings for one more season. I hope that we keep the 5th & draft Barnes. I wanna see my team build through the draft like the Thunder. A young core developing together is better than trading piece after piece trying to find the right fit.

I hope that we get rid of Salmon, Garcia & Hayes for future picks so Honeycutt & Whiteside can develop. 

I think the kings should not look to continue to build through the draft like okc it took okc 3 years to build a good team you guys are on year 8

Rob your right but the picks after that draft they made were great:08 Westbrook#4,ibaka #24,09:harden#3, if it wasn’t for these picks okc would still be struggling to make the playoffs the kings should look to try to swing a deal for their pick instead of keeping it as the draft has been unkind to them

What is so amazing about Noah that people think he is worth Drummond and Tyreke? Both players who could turn out more talented than him. This trade would turn out horrid for the Kings and I would hate to see them agree to this.

 Bad trade for both teams. Tyreke doesn’t fit with Bulls. Giving up too much in Sac. A trade I would consider if I were the Bulls is if Austin Rivers is on the board at 14, trade Asik to Houston for that pick. Chicago can get Rivers who can catch and shoot, handle the rock, create for himself and others. They get that scorer they need at the 2. Whether its off the bench or starting. Plus, he gets decent time his rookie year because Rose is out. The Rockets get their young C. He is a proven NBA player and I think that is worth the 14th pick. Plus with the 29th pick the Bulls may be able to pick up a guy like Ezeli(maybe). 

 And I’m not sure Rivers would be there but he is available on some people’s mocks. Just an idea though. 

I’m lukewarm on a deal like that. I mean he is a good compliment to Cousins consider they both love to rebound and Noah is a great passer. But giving up the 5th pick and Evans? I mean how the hell do we know when Reke will finally break out. Idk, I mean its not like I’d hate it, but doesn’t mean I like it either.

I get what you’re saying Oz. Its just lol, he was the first sight of good things to come for the Kings. And now this, I just don’t want the Kings to make another mistake that sets us back by miles..

Rose and Tyreke can get together cuz both are from the Calipari, Memphis tree. ALso, Rose probably is going to miss all of next year so I expect him to lose alot of explosiveness. Rose better develop the jumper. I think its a no brainer for Chicago

Noah basically makes up for all of Cousins deficiencies and his high post passing gives them an interesting version of the Gasol/Randolph dynamic, except I think Noah is even better defensively than Marc while Cousins can be better offensively than Randolph.  With a ton of cap space still, Williams, Thornton, Jimmer and Thomas around them, that’s an interesting core that fits a whole lot better, with a little shooting anyway, than what they have currently.

The Bulls meanwhile, make out like bandits.  Yes, they’d badly need to re-sign Asik, but Tyreke under Thibs could become an elite defender extremely quickly.  Deng and Reke on the wings living up to their potential would give Wade and Lebron fits, especially given that Asik and Gibson would be able to be kept around using the NOAH savings.  At that point, the Bulls are fine with whomever falls tot hem at 5 – TRob or Drummond, who could develop in their system.  Reke and Rose aren’t ideal offensively together, but could essentially operate like a poor man’s Wade and Lebron.  Given just how devestating they’d be on defense, that sounds a worthwhile gamble.

If they did this, the Kings should have at least one of these guys on the board at 29: Jeffrey Taylor, Royce White, Draymond Green or Quincy Miller.  Any one of those guys could battle it out with Terrence Williams & Honeycutt for minutes at SF and give them a pretty solid starting 5.  Still not a playoff team, but the roster would be way more balanced.

Tyreke’s a baller, but dude doesn’t have a position & dominates the ball.  Noah would be a nice get for the Kings.

That being said, I don’t think this is good value for the Kings; even if the end result is a net positive.  Petrie pretty much sucks at maximizing trade value.  He used to be reliable at evaluating talent, but Jimmer is a chink in that armor.  Teams with roster space who know how to manipulate the draft could fill a lot of holes with this draft class; even with late 1st rounders/early 2nd rounders.  The Kings could be that team, but Petrie will either stay put or do something stupid like the Salmons trade last year and be the guy giving away value, not adding it.

Hope I’m wrong, but not optimistic.

Needs a coach. that simple. Kings are a disorganised organisation (lol, but serious). Personally I think they have no direction franchise wise thats why they cant emmulate the OKC plan.  I mean they drafted Jimmer last year – wtf was that, nice player but where does he fit unless they thought he n reke were the next Jordan n Paxon, lol. Seriously its starts at the top – 20/5/5 proves he cna play at this level, injury  problems second year, n this shortened season was a wash for the team, bujt because of how its made up

 I think it’s pretty fair for both teams, but I don’t like a Tyreke and Rose backcourt going forward.  They are both too ball dominant and require the rock in their hands to be effective.  Unless Rose is a completely different player after his ACL surgery, I don’t think it’s the best fit.

They would have to re-sign Asik, though, and try hard to acquire another center, because a big man of Noah’s caliber and defensive versitility is really important in that system.

 while it doesnt look good on paper to have a Rose/Evans backcourt….on court results could be different.  stranger things have happened.   Rose is a team player, and I think Reke can buy in too.  I worry more about the fact that neither one of them are pure shooters than the fact that they are ball dominant.  I like the deal.  They could resemble a team like the championship Pistons…..not the highest scoring team out there, but stifling defense.
