This years Tristian Thompson?

Maybe Portland could absolutly fall in love with Leonard and take him at 5

I think Arnett Moultrie could be that player.  He talent suggest he should be higher

I like Terrance Jones but I don’t think he goes four. This year the Cavs have a pick at 4 again and I doubt they go with another power forward.
If Damian Lillard goes six then that should qualify as a high riser.

I think that a guy might fall this year. Possibly MKG or Beal especially if Barnes moves up a bit. I think that most people see Thomas Robinson as a possible 2nd or 3rd pick but I could see him dropping a bit. Maybe to Sacto at 5. I like Drummond as a possible #2 pick but I saw one mock where he falls.

If any player moves up into the top four as sort of an “upside” pick or a risky pick it would probably be Perry Jones. Lots of upside with him but also bust potential. But his combine numbers were great and if a team needs an oversized 3 man early then Perry Jones could be the pick. Especially if a team trades up in the draft.

There is an outside shot that Austin Rivers moves up to 4. I can see him and Kyrie being s good backcourt. The Cavs might go for a shooting guard, especially if Barnes and MKG fail to impress.

Rivers and Kyrie would give Cleveland two ball handlers, passers, and guys who can score. Then they can work on the rest of the inside game with their other picks and in next year’s draft.

The Kings look to be the wild card here. T Rob would be a great fit but if he is not there then I can see the Kings going in lots of different directions. They might even take Jared Sullinger there. John Henson could get a look too.

Impossible to ever know for sure, but if I was to guess I’d say Perry Jones III probably has the highest chance to get picked up way too early.

Yea I was going to say Perry Jones, some team could fall in love with him and his potential. I could see the Cavs taking a risk on him, hoping that he can guard SF’s with Thompson at PF. I think this also give Jones the best chance to suceed because he will get to develop along with Kyrie and if he reaches anywhere near his potential, this could be a deadly duo.

Henson or Leonard. I suggested that the cavs take Brandon Knight at #4 even when they drafted Irving.

Sacramento just worked out John Henson, and it seems like they’re pretty big on what he could potentially bring to the table along side cousins. I wouldn’t be exceedingly surprised if they took him at 5 if robinson, drummond and barnes are gone.

It will not be Terrence Jones at #4. The Cavs really like both MKG and Barnes, and Beal, and would be really satisfied with any one of them. Not only is Jones sort of a PF like Thompson but he was horrible in interviews, saying he will struggle to guard both forward spots when asked about what position he plays. That team needs a wing, preferably a good shooter, and they’ll get someone they really like.

As I’ve mentioned in numerous posts, I really like Henson to the Kings at #5. 

Right now Waiters to Portland at #6 is my upset pick. 

 Moe Harkless maybe? Going as high as 7 to the Warriors. 

Waiter’s 6 will be the suprise pick, but will be a great choice compared to Cleveland’s reach for Thompson. Dion’s the best two imo in a draft thats stacked at the position

 with the kings just working him out looking like he could b there pick at 5 he makes sense there too the kings need a def minded pf too compliment dmc

 I am going with Mo Harkless or Quincy Miller to get into the lottery and possibly top 10.  As far as someone sneaking in the top 5 as a total shocker.  I dont see that happening this year….if it did, I probably would have to bet on Austin Rivers.

It’s usually a guy who was highly touted in high school that didn’t have a big impact in the NCAA. Before Tristan it was Tyreke Evans and before him it was Russell Westbrook. That being said, if Austin Rivers goes ahead of Brad Beal and into the top 6 it would fit the mold. Though I really don’t see anything like that happening this year. I guess it would make sense if Drummond got pick 2nd overall as well. This draft is so deep with elite talent anything could happen though. Not a lot of miss prospects.
