I always make the same mistake of drafting everyone so that it all fits together and every team gets what they want but the problem you gotta go one by one and take the best available for each team and sometimes it gets ugly. For example if Washington selects anyone other than Brad Beal your whole draft will unravel. And Waiters already got a promise from a team probably higher than Minnisota. Your draft fits together well and in a perfect world that’s what it would look like based on team need but make sure youre going pick by pick and not analyzing the whole draft at once.

I hate when I pick a player and then look at the next team and am like "Damn he would have been perfect"

-If you know Waiters has a loto promise then try and take a guess as to which one and don’t let him fall out. He may not go to the team you pick, but he definetly is NOT going to Minnesota.

-Although you talked about Zeller, I love your pick of Sully going to Detriot. He remindes me of the situation Joakim Noah was in. A top 3 pick, stays in school, falls in the draft because it’s a stronger year. I think his character and  his Dad, Satch, won’t let him be lazy and he won’t be the next Michael Sweeney.  Whoever picks him will be rewarded.

-I don’t think PJIII is a good fit at GS. They haven’t done a good job of developing players recently and PJII will require constant attention from the coaches for a few years. Maybe Marc Jackson can change all that.

-I’m higher on T-Rob to Sacto than all of people on this board.

-Did Toronto promise Austin Rivers? I don’t know. Either way I’d take him over Lamb. If I had a vetern player on the team to keep him focus and working than I could understand taking Lamb and his talent, but the Raptors are in a youth movement and don’t have that yet.

Thanks I know what you guys are saying and it makes sense and you can definetly see it with my mock, however I thought waiters was a promise for toronto and then rivers was for phoenix but that doesnt make a lot of sense.

You know theres a promise, but you don’t know where the promise came from. You can only go w/ what you think the promise is.
