Everybody is talking about it. Sadly its his second loss of the night. His Celtics were also taken out. People are saying that fight was rigged.

Pacquiao dominated Bradley. Bob Arum the money hog, made the match fixed so that he’d earn more money since Mayweather and Pacquiao is not going to happen

Didn’t watch, but he reportedly dominated all the stats and still lost??? SMH @ judges.

Boxing and NBA, the two biggest jokes in pro sports officiating.

It really wasn’t even close. Not only was pacquiao landing more punches but they were more powerful and had a greater impact. Bradley won 2, 3 rounds at most. Ledderman had it 119-109. Those Vegas judges are questionable. Rematch could be November 10th though, hopefully in a different setting.

    Boxing = $$$$ and corruption.

I’m just trying to figure out the loophole to Pac taking an L, its makes no sense that he would agree upon that in advance.

Simply off compustrike Manny outstruck Bradley by over 100 punches, over 80 more power punches, higher punch percentage, landed the only significant punches of  the fight rocking Bradley a few times. He also controlled the ring while Bradley was retreating and running a lot. Factor in the big name, there is no explanation for this. Bob Arum even just said that Bradley went to him after the fight and told Arum that he tried his hardest but couldn’t beat Pacman. This is the worst decision ever. Manny might not even fight anymore. This is just terrible, you know it’s bad with all boxing analyst can say is that at least Bradley tried hard and never gave up. So I guess he won the fight on effort lmao. Boxing is Dead.

How else do you advertise an underrated and lesser known boxer?

Make him beat Pacquiao.  I bet average boxing fans that didn’t know Timothy Bradley know his name now.

Now we have three "giants" in boxing.  Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Bradley.  That’s another person that can sell tons of seats and make boxing millions of dollars.

Bradley definitely won that fight, if he was punching Pacman’s fists with his face!

wow…. Boxing and basketball are so hard to watch when you know it’s predetermined for profits and ratings…

"Unbelievable," Bob Arum said. "I went over to Bradley before the decision and he said, ‘I tried hard but couldnt beat the guy." – ESPN

Unbelievable. Boxing needs a boost. Mayweather vs. Paquiao was going to try and provide just that. Now what? This just destroyed the potential of that fight.

Horrible officiating. HBO and ESPN had Pac 11-1. Even Bradley’s manager had the fight 8-4 to Pac.

    Even Busta Rhymes was surprised…

It was domination. Outclassed actually. Landed almost 100 more punches. Thats why boxing sucks right there. I love the sport but I watch the fights for free on the net. It’s not worth paying for Bullsh!t.

It’s not the robbery that is most shocking, because maybe in a an amateur fight with 15 people watching a scoring fraud like this could happen, but what is most shocking is that it happened to boxing’s cash cow. Arum has made so much money off of Pacman he should be ashamed. Manny announces he’s not resigning with top rank and Arum starts to push his next biggest fighter Bradley, is this surprising? I knew things could get fishy when I saw how the vegas odds last minute were turning closer to Bradley. It’s a sham, how disgraceful.

The need to be be able to explain their judgements.  Just saying some random numbers means nothing if it does not correlate to the fight actually taking place. I think they were watching the NBA game and missed most of the fight and just guessed.

The thing is usually compustrike can explain a fight and compustrike explains that Manny won the fight outright, but the truth is computstrike doens’t even explain the separation between the two. Bradley was outclassed, Manny controlled the fight having Bradley have to retreat constantly and Manny landed 10-15 significant punches on Bradley, to Bradley’s maybe 1 or 2. It simply is a shame. Usually in a situation like this you would have Pacman haters trying to justify the victory for Bradley but in this one not even they can, not even Bradley himself or his corner could explain this one. I feel bad for Bradley because he fought with heart and class and it’s not his fault the judges were bogus, but he has to know that he’s walking around with a fradulent belt, it’s like LeBron walking around with a 2011 NBA ring that he stole from Dirk’s home.

i wathed it. Terrible decision. Dont hate on bradley though, he fought his ass off and finished the fight strong. But every single thing he landed looked completley soft compared to what pac was landing. Pac was rocking bradley and had him backing up and looking dazed. When bradley landed his combos, pac was smiling. ROBBERY.

    RIP Boxing June 9th 2012.

With a rematch sceduled for November 10th already, it’s obvious this thing was rigged.  Pac Man will win the fight on the 10th, regain the title….just in time for Mayweather to get out of prison and (hopefully) set up a fight.  I might be the only one, but I believe it was a ploy to keep Pac Man in the sport.  iwht his new found faith in God, it seems like Manny has put less of a priority on boxing and more on living a humble, god/family oriented life.  The loss means that Manny has no choice but to fight again if he wants to go out on top.

the remtatch was part of the contract if pac lost. Im not surprised they included that since it would mean a shot of redemption for the more popular fighter as well as ton of money for both fighters and the promoter if it came down to it. It just gauranteed that bradley couldnt take the win and run which is understandable. Then bradley had the poster made for the rematch as a way to say he was gauranteeing victory. If people think it was fixed thats fine, but dont use the rematch as proof. I mean they made the potetnial for a rematch public info before the fight and the fighters even discussed it before the fight.

one more thing i wanted to add to my original post, I have been a mma fan for a decade. I dont watch mutch boxing, but one common theme in mma scoring criteria is that you can look at who was landing more and being the aggressor or you can look at who was landing the better shots and doing more damage. Sometimes these two different things conflict with one guy landing more while the other does more damage. However in this case, pac absolutely dominated both areas. No idea what the judges were watching.

The fight was fixed, and what makes it even more sickening is Pacman seems to be ok with it. The guy wasn’t a bit upset at all, his interview with Max Kellerman after the fight “I tried my best, but I guess my best wasn’t good enough” -Pacquiao. Speaking as if he believe he lost the fight. I bet Pacman agreed to take this lost before the fix for another one more payday fight Pacman vs Bradley 2.

I missed the fight last night, but checked it out today. I scored it 9-3 in favor of Pacquiao.

I’ve seen close decisions I’ve disagreed with, but imo, the difference was blatant. I love boxing, but at the same time, this is one of the most sketchiest decisions I’ve ever seen.

While I believe everything you said is correct, I also believe that Pac has found an inner peace with himself since finding god.  Religion can make people do a complete 180, and is one of the only things in life that can completely change a man’s prospective on life and re prioritize everything he has going on.  It’ not that he did not care; it’s that maybe he realizes that there’s more to life then boxing.
