Sheed36ParticipantUnlucky Wizards and Kings!! They got the worst possible positions

sheltwon3ParticipantI feel sorry for Griffin, the clippers are in disarray. The good news is that they will probably be trading players so that they can put him in the starting lineout.

lakanoParticipantYea Griffin has been put in the Black Hole aka the Clippers. Any way the Grizzlies should take Rubio and allow him to grow along with Marc Gasol and OJ Mayo

trade conley, #27 pick to sacramento for fourth pick and take hill0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/19/2009 - 3:46pm #151464
bujubantonParticipantWell Deandre Jordan,Al Thornton and Blake Griffin in the frontcourt, while Eric Gordon is in the backcourt, that is a very nice unit to build around for the next 2 to three years.

OURJParticipantMemphis needs size, but not necessarily at Center because they have Gasol.
After the coaching switch Conley played very good PG and he is only 21 so I am not sure Rubio is a great fit.Surely they do not reach for Hill at 2.
If Marc has the J like Pau they could play Marc and Thabeet together which would be appealing.
I will say they go Thabeet for now.

ch15r36isParticipantI agree that this team could have a pretty nice core with Gordon and Griffin. They just need to figure out what to do with Z-Bo (name me a less likeable player in the league), because I think Camby and Baron could still be good mentors if they sense they have a chance to win.

MrWoLeeParticipantI hope we get Tyreke Evans, or trade the pick and get a good PF

lakanoParticipantLast time I checked the Grizzlies had
Darko Milicic 7’0 (Played the 4 at times during the season)
Chris Mihm 7’0
*Hamed Haddadi 7’2If you asked me I would say they have enough size, and Mihm and Milicic can slide down to the PF
Im takin Rubio0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/19/2009 - 5:01pm #151492
borlackParticipant1) LA Clippers: Blake Griffen: obvious pick
2) Memphis: Ricky Rubio: best talent
3) Oklahoma City: Hasheem Thabeet: they need a center and more of a spark for defense
4) Sacremento: Jordan Hill: Now sac-town doesnt need a PF or C or SG, and theres not a good enough talent of PGs and small forwards at the 4 spot, even though u could argue the few that are potential top 5s, but jordan is still the best talent at 4. anywho, i believe that sac town and memphis will trade picks rubio for hill it would help both teams immensely and sac can throw in a great bench player such as nocioni who would thrive as the 6th man in memphis.
5)Washington: James Harden: im certain washington will trade the pick but if not this is their go to guy at the SG spot that needs desperate help, harden is a pure SG no offense to nick young but hes the bench spark similar to a JR Smith type of player
6) Minnesota: Demar Derozen, its hard to pass this guy up with his enormous athleticism, foye will have to move back to his position as PG or if they some how get Hinrich like they wanted at the deadline they can have a lineup of hinrich, foye, derozen, love, jefferson…i havent forgotten brewer but he still needs to prove himself.
7) Golden State: Brandon Jennings: perfect fit for this high octance offense he’ll play great with monta leading the warriors and they are in desperate need of a PG
8) New York: Stephen Curry: the knicks have made it pretty clear theyre taking him and hes a perfect fit for the D’Antoni system
9) Toronto: Earl Clark: hes an explosive forward that the raps r in desperate need of.
10) Milwakee: Tyreke Evans: best available guard has a lot to offer as an NBAer, looks like a good fit with redd, richardson and bogut, he has good athleticism to command the floorlet me know what u guys think
