What’s up guys. I’m not to sure on guys contracts so help me out. It’s clear that the Magic more than likely will lose Dwight Howard and will need a Center for the future. It’s also clear that Dwight wants to play with a great point guard. The Nets want to pair Dwight with Dwill and are willing to trade for him from what we know. People say Brook Lopez for Dwight. Although Lopez is a good center he isn’t a great rebounder and is injury prone. It seems as though the Magic are looking to rebuild so why not try and go after a young big man to replace Dwight. Here comes in Andre Drummond. Drummond is looking like he will be a top 3 lock. If he is still on board as the 3rd pick, what about a 3 team trade with the Wizards? The Magic trade Dwight and Hedo and Ryan Anderson to the Nets for Lopez and Marshon Brooks. The Magic could then trade Lopez and Brooks for the 3rd pick and maybe Jordan Crawford or Andray Blatche or both as well as the 3rd pick. The Magic could get a potential great big man in Drummond to replace Dwight and get a point guard with their 19th pick to pair with him. Maybe Tony Wroten or Scott Machado(don’t think I spelled it right). The Wizards still get a big man in Lopez and can move Nene to the 4 as well as have guard to go with Wall in Brooks. The magic get rid of Hedo contract and get a big man with great promise to replace Dwight for cheap as well as a young scoring guard in Crawford and another big man in Blatche. And the Nets have their superstar duo in Dwight and Dwill. Would all teams be willing to do this? Could this work? Thoughts

The Wizards wouldnt go for it. Anderson would essential just replace Lewis and he’s not good in the wizards "system". I don’t think it’ll go, not enough coming in for wizards or magic

I said Anderson would go to the Nets not the Wizards if the teams were to agree to the trade. But thanks for the thoughts.

I just figured the Wizards would consider it because you are getting a Center and a Guard that you know can produce where as Washington doesn’t know if Drummond will be the next big thing or not. The Magic are already losing a superstar so they are in rebuild mode. They are probably not going to get a big man close to the athlete of Dwight other than Drummond. They have no lotto pick. Maybe Meyers Leonard but people aren’t sold on him as much as they like Drummond. Why wouldn’t they go for it? Why would the Magic be willing to trade Dwight for  Lopez if he doesn’t have value as a player? Why wouldn’t the Wizards want him? I thnk a lineup with Wall, Brooks, Singleton/Lewis, Nene and Lopez look like a decent squad to me. But thanks again for the input

Wizards have Nene, they don’t need Lopez

The Wizards have a few younger frontcourt options like Vesley and Seraphin, why would they want to pay Brook Lopez a hefty salary when they have no need for him.

Washington would probably also want to dump Lewis so another team would have to buy him out so Nets would have to take on both him and Blatche.

not sure how this D Howard situation is going to play out.

Maybe the following (it will have to be adjusted to fit in the cap, im not 100% sure how cap numbers work come the offseason)

Orlando gets– picks #6+#11+ future 1st from Nets + Marshon Brooks

Nets get– howard + J Richarson (or another bad contract)

    Portland gets — B Lopez + ??

Orlando could then draft possibly (per this site) Beal, Jones III, and Moe Harkless. Then Amnesty Turkaglu and try to unload the rest of there vets to clear out for a rebuild (not a great situation but I dont see how this doesnt end poorly)

Nets get howard and keep Williams

Portland build a starting front court of Lopez, Aldridge, and Batum wich is very long and skilled they just need to be able to rebound.

Another Possible idea would be the following

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7u2qham

Orlando gets Al Horford + #23 + Zaza + Teague + addition S&T to fill cap

    Atlanta gets Howard + Nelson

Atlanta is reborn with a lineup of Howard,Smith, williams,Johnson, and Nelson

Orlando can then try to trade the #19 and #23 to move up in the draft and rebuild around Horford, Anderson Teague and draft picks.
