Zeke313ParticipantWhat is so special about this guy? Do any of his skills stand out? Can he even start in the league? Im sick of everyone just stamping him to the Pistons almost as a throwaway so no other team has to draft him. We dont need mediocre big men we need good players. We can’t limit our scope and grab a positiin of need when theres a player available that can help us out in other ways.

NiceWithTheRockParticipantI think he’s just not flashy. Everything about his game just looks simple. Simple hook shot, drop step etc. No stylish dunks or anything. He had 16.5 ppg and 9.3 rpg on 55% shooting and 80% from the FT line so he can shoot efficiently. I think he’s just a solid player and will be productive but just won’t excite or sell tickets.

akhan786ParticipantHe’s a 7 foot mobile big man who runs the floor like crazy.
Not to mention he has an uncanny knack for scoring around the basket helped by his deft touch inside 10 feet.
I’d say he’s the offensive version of Omer Asik.

UNCbasketballbumParticipantZeller is not a mediocre big man by any means. I have no idea what you’re ranting and raving about. Zeller is solid all around, can really run the floor and was a 4 year player at North Carolina.

fliptonnParticipantI’ve been saying this for a while. The guy’s a lot better than he gets credit for. He’s a great finisher with legit size and athleticism. Whichever team gets him is getting a guy who will likely be a fan favorite down the road. Reminds me of David Lee in that fact that he’s a big guy who runs the floor well, rebounds, finishes and is just an all around work horse.

mookieParticipantDef got skill. @nicewittherock is right…hes just not flashy. As far as the Pistons go, alot of people have Henson going to them but I dont know about him. He’s sooo skinny. Austin Daye is still trying to grow into his body. THe way I see it, is if they get Henson, they will probably give up on hiim before he grows into his body, if he ever dos. Same with Daye. They need a physical presence with Monroe.

Zeke313ParticipantIt just seems like we can do better at 9. The only way I’d be fine taking him is if Jones is gone.
