Allen_Iverson_3ParticipantI know it’s bleacherreport, but this wouldn’t surprise me were it true: Dwight Howard has gone from being one of my favorite players to a player that I despise because of his selfish attitude. What do you guys think?

apb540ParticipantThe Magic should call Rod Thorn and see what he thinks about Dwight Howard.

Jayhawks2011Participantit will be impossible for them to really get much for them. A lopez and brooks swap might be their best option. Magic are in a terrible situation. Dwight is being a little B***h

CAROLINA BLUE NICKParticipantAgreed. I lost a lot of respect for Dwight. They basically blew up the Magic with the firing of SVG and Smith to appeal to Dwight and he still isn’t satisfied. I don’t know if it’s the players mindsets or the Orlando organization does something to make it’s superstar players want to leave (Shaq, Tmac, Dwight). I guess he is going to Brooklyn or Dallas. Wherever Deron Williams goes i’m sure he is going to follow. Well the way the draft has been lately, you lose a superstar for whatever reason and your team sucks (Gilbert Arenas gun fiasco in 2010, Lebron taking his talents to south beach in 2011, and Chris Paul leaving New Orleans this past year) you are going to get the number one pick lol. So if Orlando sucks this coming year without Dwight (which they probably will) I guess they can choose between Nerlens Noel or Shabazz Muhammad for the number one pick lol

UNCbasketballbumParticipantOh dear god. I friggin can’t stand Dwight Howard. Nobody in this world should defend this jerks childish behavior. Once again, we don’t lnow if these rumors are true, but Dwight has handled this situation just about as poorly as you can handle it. Who is giving this guy advice?

rwd5035ParticipantI wouldn’t believe anything written on that fancy blog.
However, I feel Dwight is going to be leaving, whether he kicks and screams on the way out is another story. I feel the Magic were intending on shopping Dwight this summer, regardless of him picking up his option.

A Lil EnglishParticipantSeems people now hate him so much they’re willing to believe negative bleacher reports about him.
I need a more reliable source.

surveParticipantthe times have changed.
I yearn for the days of old where guys just came out and played basketball and didnt worry about the hoopla, the market, the championship ring chasing, etc….
just play ball. everything else will come. Dwight is going to be paid well by Orlando, so money is not an issue. If he goes to Brooklyn, that is no guaratee he will win a title.
Also, him, his agent, his publicist, etc…need to keep better wraps on what he says. Even though you cant go by Bleacher Report…most of his displeasure with whatever has been well chronicled. He can say he isnt saying anything but he obviously is, everything isnt a concocted story.
I am not saying you shouldnt want to explore other avenues….but the way these players go about it is not good for their image. Paul Pierce considered leaving Boston I am sure, but I am sure he loves Boston too and wanted to stay if possible and it paid off. Its not always about packing up and leaving.
Look at Jordan, Magic, Bird, Malone, Duncan, etc…the list goes on and on. As long as the Knicks were paying Ewing top dollar, he was never going to leave.
Its not like the Magic suck. Now that SVG and Smith are gone, a new beginning is on the horizon. I just dont know what Dwight wants….and the problem is, I dont think he does either.

HaleParticipantI’ll believe it when I hear it somewhere else. Bleacherreport has less credibility then European Baller.

NbanflguyParticipantDwight Howard just became one of my most hated players. How old is this guy? He has the maturity of a 5 year old.

DunksNJordans23ParticipantBleacherreport has zero credibility. Moving on.
