FastAndFuriousParticipantPlaying out of his mind! Yes, playing out of his mind even though he’s a Superstar.
Has 22 points, 7ast, 4boards, 1TO
7-11 from the field, 8-10 from the FT Line. Knocked down 5 or 6 jumpers.
I think it’s safe to say, if he could knock that jumper down like that every game, he’d be the best PG in the L, and he’d be pushing for a top 5 spot in the League regardless of position.
That jumper opens up that lane so much more for him, evident by his 10 FT attempts in the first half, he’d dominate the L, if he could shoot it like that every night.

FastAndFuriousParticipantAgreed, he is being super explosive and wanting the contact, he needs to play like this more often, his level of play is already elite, but man he is the best player on the floor tonight, even outplaying Lebron, which is saying alot, because he could do this everytime out if he wanted to, or better yet if he could knock down the jumper with consistency.

WizardofOzParticipantI’ve never seen him attack the basket with this kind of aggression. Before, he used to shy away from contact.

KayjayParticipantOffensively, he forgot about defense. Mario Chalmers is having one hell of a night himself.

river09ParticipantHe is the best player in the league tonight. Playing incredible on both ends..

FastAndFuriousParticipantRondo really making me think he’s the best PG in the L, this was really a big time game for him, he looked flawless tonight.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIf he can consistently hit his jumpshot like this, he could easily be in the conversation as the best point guard in the league.

CAROLINA BLUE NICKParticipantYea. Rondo with a Jumper is the best point in the league. That was one of the greatest playoff performances period. Even though they lost. Dude almost had a triple double and was 16/24 from the field??? That’s unreal. 44 points, 10 assist, and 8 rebounds for a 6’1 guard is crazy

omphalosParticipantThe lack of rest really showed over the course of the game, he became really passive in the 3rd and 4th because he was just exhausted. Celtics have got to find a decent back-up PG in the draft, maybe Scott Machado? I’ve heard he’s a pass-first PG like Rondo, so wouldn’t disrupt the rhythm too much.

B-ball fanParticipantHe was "passive" in the 3rd and 4th? Miami defended him better then, but he still scored well and played efficient basketball. I think Miami’s switching had an effect, but Rondo was still really effective late in the game, even if he was obviously tired.
