When you have a terrribly run franchise, you tend not to get breaks.  The Charlotte Bobcats found this out when they lost the draft lottery to the Hornets and will pick number 2 in the draft this June.  Terrible contracts, yes you Tyrus Thomas and head-scratching draft picks have devoid Charlotte of any sort of talent whatsoever.  I had a feeling the Bobcats would not win the draft lottery.  The last time the team with the worst record in the NBA won the number 2 pick was in 2004 when the Orlando Magic selected Dwight Howard.  I dont really feel bad for Charlotte not getting the number 1 pick since Jordan is running this franchise into the ground.  MKG, the likely number 2 pick will help some, but he is limited offensively and it will take some time for him to develop that part of his game and the Bobcats desperately need offense.  Look for the Bobcats to have another abysmal season in 2012-2013.

I’m glad The Bobcats didn’t win the Lotto, hell they was tryna loose on purpose, The Hornets wasn’t hell they play in the hardest division in the NBA, The NBA need 2 find a solutions 2 this Lottery Draft thing cuz it looks 2 rigged, My solution is give each lottery team (1) ping’pong ball with there team logo on it and put it in the machine, and who ever wins they win by luck/faith.

New Orleans getting Davis and Davis getting to play there with a good coach in Monty Williams is actually a great thing.  New Orleans played hard but did not have enough talent.  They could grab two starter and at least one in this draft and that is not counting the second round.  Charlotte would not have been help much with Davis because they needed a scorer anyway.  Biyombo is good defender and he not do much for them.  Barnes to me fits so many needs for that team it is not funny.

I would be complaing if they didn’t get atleast the No, 2 overall pick. This is still way better than most teams that have gone in the draft with the worst record.

In all honesty, I believe the Bobcats really tried. That team gave it all they had, but they just didn’t have the players. I feel bad for the fans that they have left, they must feel like the entire NBA is out to get them because they can’t catch one break. Whoever they take will help, but it’s going to be three to four years before they can realistically compete for a playoff position again.

How come people keep saying “the bobcats need scoring” like there is a one guy in the draft that can come in and put up 25ppg now or in a year. Lol. It doesn’t matter who they pick this year or next they still will be bad because they are rebuilding and don’t have any real good players. So picking a scorer or picking MKG won’t matter much as far as getting points anyway. With MKG you do get a hard working player with a high motor who gives his all on defense which will make others play hard. As far as him not being a scorer, he averaged 12 ppg and 8 rebounds on a team that had 6 total guys averaged double figure points, you take away one and his ppg jumps to 15. Take away 2 and it’s 17. The guys knows how to scorer he just isn’t the greatest of shooters. People seem to get shooting and score ring confused. Even with his 12ppg average how many more points did beal,Barnes, rivers and others average while taking more shots? About 2-3 more ppg if I’m not mistaken
