Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWALTHAM, Mass. — Celtics second-year shooting guard Avery Bradley will undergo surgery Friday to repair small tears in his left shoulder and miss the remainder of the postseason.
Speaking of the Celtics, who wins tonight’s game? If the 76ers win, do they have a chance in hell to beat the Heat? Can the Celtics beat the Heat in a 7-game series?

joecheck88ParticipantI think this is a huge loss for the Celtics and kills their chance of making the Finals. Actually, they will probably be tested tonight by a young hungry team. I still think they win tonight though. The loss of Bradley really hurts them against the Heat though. He guards Wade tough.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI agree with Joecheck, Avery Bradley is one of few guys in the league that really bothers Wade and makes him work. Not to mention, bringing Allen off the bench really helped their depth.

KayjayParticipantIf Bosh finds his way back which he’s reportedly close. Celtics will not beat the Heat. Too many injuries, and the Heat are confident right now. I don’t see it being more than 5 games. If not 5 then 6 at most.
Celtics have trouble finding their offense at times. The Heat to do to, but if you’ve been watching the Sixer’s series you’ll see the problem is much worse than everyone thinks.

HotSnotParticipantThis is a bigger blow to Boston then one might think. Boston struggled this season (alittle over .500) untill Ray Allen got hurt and Bradley was inserted into the starting lineup. It turned Boston’s season around and they were awesome down the stretch.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI was actually looking forward to Avery Bradley checking D. Wade in a playoff series.
Avery Bradley has become one of my favorite players. Hope he gets healthy.

omphalosParticipantAs a Celtics fan I’d rather lose to the Sixers and give them a shot at the Heat than endure a likely sweep against Miami. It’s sad to see the Boston Three Party end like this, but with Bradley gone, Allen hobbled, Pierce banged up and KG simply exhausted, we are officially out of the race.
Next season will be a brave new world for the Celtics, I just hope Ainge doesn’t do something foolish like trade Rondo.

UNCbasketballbumParticipantLosing Bradley is definitely a huge loss for the Celtics. Avery is such a good on the ball defender and an improving offensive player. This puts tons of pressure on Pietrus to perform. He has been dealing with injuries but is a good defender in his own right and a capable three point shooter. The Celtics will need him to perform well off the bench with Ray Allen really struggling.

Sewok15ParticipantThey weren’t going to beat the Heat with Bradley so they surely will not without him…I am not even convinced they will beat the Sixers tomorrow.

FastAndFuriousParticipantSorry guys, but no one plays tonight, it’s tommorow night.

NYK2010ParticipantCeltics weren’t beating the Heat even with Bradley unless Bosh was out and Ray Allen was healthy.
Even that wasn’t a given now with Bosh possibly returning and Bradley out., Wade will be guarded by either a slower Pietrus, old Ray Allen or a much smaller Rondo. Pick your poison the Heat are just too athletic and the time off will help them.

del90ParticipantWhops, who’s going to defend Wade now?
