NbanflguyParticipantWhat happened to you indiana?
You were such a good and respected poster, but now that the Pacers are in the playoffs you have turned into a immature, irrational, baby.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:24pm #39444

IndianaBasketballParticipantLol at the NBA refs. Already the Pacers have gotten calls and gotten away with contact that they didn’t get away with the whole game in Miami.
I like the way the Pacers have came out though. West already making shots that he missed in the first quarter of the last game.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:26pm #673607

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantPersonally, I agree with Nbanflguy. I guess Indiana is just passionate about his team. Hell, when Scola was stomped by Love, I damn near wanted Love to be suspended for 20 games! lol
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:28pm #673610

NbanflguyParticipantThe nba is not a conspiracy. It is the Heat vs Pacers, not the Heat & Refs vs the Pacers.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:29pm #673612

NbanflguyParticipantHell, when Scola was stomped by Love, I damn near wanted Love to be suspended for 20 games! lol
ha and I didnt want Love to be suspended. We are all biased to our own teams, but that doesnt mean we have to complain about every little thing that doesnt go our way.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:30pm #673613

Wavy BagelsParticipantThe Pacers still have a chance to win the series, but they REALLY needed to win Game 4. They had Miami in a corner and they should’ve kept them there.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:30pm #673604

IndianaBasketballParticipantHuh?
Did you see the foul they called on Turiaf against Hibbert? That wasn’t called last game. And the contact Wade took on the layup and no call… Wade would’ve been shooting free-throws last game.
I don’t know if you’re upset and trying to take up for your buddy, but this is a new thread… New day.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:33pm #673615

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantY2G
Yeah, I remember that "you flop, I stomp" saying lmao. I actually agreed with it even though it was towards Scola. I HATE floppers.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:36pm #673611

HaleParticipantFunny example you used. Nbanflguy is a Wolves fan and made his famous "you flop, I stomp" statement from that exact play.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:38pm #673622

Wavy BagelsParticipantWhere’s the popcorn? I smell an ol’ fashioned debate brewin’.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:39pm #673626

HitsterParticipantIn any sport the home team often seems to get decisions in their favour.
Given as this is the Pacers biggest game for about 7 years, we could cut Indyball a bit of slack.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:41pm #673616

IndianaBasketballParticipantWtf are you talking about?
So when anybody else complains about the refs, it’s no big deal. But when I call out a few inconsistencies towards both teams, I’m being immature, irrational and a baby?
I really just think you’re upset Y2G’s feelings seemed to get hurt the other day because there’s a lot more immaturity, ignorness and foolishness going on on this site besides me rooting for the Pacers during a damn thread. Smh…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:42pm #673627

Wavy BagelsParticipantI kinda like the new Indy. He’s sorta like Peter Parker when he discovered the symboite and became the Venom-Spider Man. It’s a cool transition, bro. Embrace it.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:43pm #673618

HaleParticipantWoah woah woah, my feelings were not hurt. To be perfectly honest I wasn’t in the best mood and just felt like calling someone out.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:44pm #673630

NbanflguyParticipantI kinda like the new Indy. He’s sorta like Peter Parker when he discovered the symboite and became the Venom-Spider Man. It’s a cool transition, bro. Embrace it.
You dont embrace it. You get to the nearest church/bell tower and you rip that sh*t off before it consumes you.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:44pm #673620

IndianaBasketballParticipantTo be perfectly honest I wasn’t in the best mood and just felt like calling someone out.
And I’m the baby?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:45pm #673621

HaleParticipantI never said you were one.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:45pm #673632

Wavy BagelsParticipantPacers’ 2nd unit is turning the ball over at a high rate, causing Miami to score.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:46pm #673633

Wavy BagelsParticipantYou dont embrace it. You get to the nearest church/bell tower and you rip that sh*t off before it consumes you.
Ooooohh. thems fightin’ woids.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:46pm #673625

HaleParticipantThe debate happened yesterday. At the end of the day we’re still going to disagree, so really no point in going back to it.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:47pm #673635

HitsterParticipantIt’s maybe the shock of the first winning season for a few years and the thought that they could be very close to making the NBA Finals.
Whoever comes through the Miami-Pacers series must feel they will have a good chance against either Boston or Philly and for teams like the Pacers and Philly then the shots at NBA Finals maybe only come once during a team’s successful cycle.
Also if Spurs and Thunder have a hard series then the Eastern Conference winner could well have a good shot at the overall title.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:53pm #673634

del90Participant - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:53pm #673639

Wavy BagelsParticipantIght, but back to the game.As deep as Indiana is, the 2nd unit at times has a hard time playing efficiently, more specifically, they turn the ball over. And against a team like Miami, you just can’t afford to. They need to address this matter.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:54pm #673640
- Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:55pm #673636

delfamParticipantWALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:57pm #673637

KayjayParticipantRef: "But it looks so pretty"
That was most def a walk.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:57pm #673642

Wavy BagelsParticipantMike Miller is on fire. This is scary.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 2:58pm #673638

IndianaBasketballParticipantLmao I guess. It’s whatever.
I think there’s a lot of sensitivity going on on this site lately. Since I’ve joined this site, I’ve talked straight ball and always posted exactly what I think. It will continue. IF you don’t like it, just hit thumbs down.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 3:02pm #673641

NiceWithTheRockParticipantPaul George is playing scared. He was responsible for 3 TO already for not being aggressive with the ball. He should assert himself more when he gets his chance to make something happen.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 3:07pm #673644

Malik-UniversalParticipantwould i get negged if i said i felt hibbert is kinda overrated
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 3:17pm #673649

For_Never_EverParticipantHahaha, The crowd was chanting he’s a flopper.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 3:30pm #673653

KayjayParticipantcould get out of control for Indiana real soon. They shot 59%, and Miami is not only still in the game, Lebron hasn’t even really got going yet.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 3:32pm #673655

raybeasParticipanthis vagina falling out of bounds after blowing that layup.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 3:41pm #673657

IndianaBasketballParticipantBig third quarter coming up for both teams. The team that has won the third quarter in all games has won the game.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 3:51pm #673661

For_Never_EverParticipantLebron missed the shot and was embarrassed. Then decided I’m going to pretend I broke my leg, no way I would just miss. LBJ is a little child.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 3:57pm #673662

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Pacers aren’t playing good basketball.
The lack of a great ball handler, passer and decision maker hurts this team.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 3:58pm #673664

NiceWithTheRockParticipantWhy does there always have to be some ulterior motive when LBJ and Wade do anything? Maybe Lebron was actually shaken from falling after running and jumping at full speed… sheesh
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:01pm #673667

KayjayParticipantSome of yall need to find more things to fill out your day. People get shaken up on plays, why clown him? You act as if he raped somebody.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:03pm #673669

For_Never_EverParticipantThen there are people that will back them no matter what. The whole half time show team also all said and thought he faked it too.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:07pm #673670

NiceWithTheRockParticipantOh, the halftime crew said he faked it? They know everything so it must be true right?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:08pm #673671

Raef LaFrentzParticipant^And everything you see on TV is the truth.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:11pm #673673

For_Never_EverParticipantDo you seriously want me to answer you ? Whatever I say will be wrong if I’m not being a fanboy.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:12pm #673674

llperezdamn, miami owned that third quarter. Pacers got to leave it all out there in the 4th
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:13pm #673676

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAs I’ve said before, when Haslem, Miller, Jones, Chalmers, and Battier are knocking down their jumpshots, they’re unbeatable.
Miller and Chalmers are a combined 8-9 from downtown.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:15pm #673677

Raef LaFrentzParticipantTrue. But Indiana is playing well when they don’t turn it over.. They need a big fourth to pull this one off.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:18pm #673678

For_Never_EverParticipantI wrote the crowd is chanting flopper. I got negged twice. So was the tv lying or did you two take offense to that ?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:19pm #673679

Malik-UniversalParticipant^it happens to everyone man
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:19pm #673680

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantLMFAO at Vogul getting upset because LeBron talks a bit of trash. Vogul called out the entire Heat team and Granger has had the whole fake tough-guy image yet Vogul wants LeBron to get a tech for a quick word.
Sad…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:23pm #673683

NiceWithTheRockParticipantYou wrote that Lebron faked being hurt because he was embarassed. I already let it go and I didn’t neg you. What does "is the tv lying mean"? just because you saw it on tv doesn’t make it true.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:25pm #673684

IndianaBasketballParticipantI LOVED that trap on D. Wade.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:32pm #673687

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantPretty clear foul there. I really hope Indiana comes back, I love seeing a good ol’ fight to the death.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:34pm #673689

KayjayParticipantPlay smart, they can win this game. You can beat Miami with good passing to outside shooters. Miami does not close out on shooters all that well.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:35pm #673690

llperezwhy is lebron yelling at battier on that play? Hes telling battier to be in the corner, but shane was wide open at the perfect angle and james just threw it out of bounds and acted like it was shanes fault.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:38pm #673691

IndianaBasketballParticipantGetting a true point guard should be the #1 priority for the Pacers this summer.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:39pm #673692

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIs David West the only Pacer out there that doesn’t want to lose?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:40pm #673693

IndianaBasketballParticipantYea, David West is the only guy who’s playing with a sense of urgency.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:41pm #673696

Charlie SheenParticipantIndiana had this they made too many crucial mistakes at the wrong time
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:41pm #673695

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantOnly a few players can make a play like that. A select few.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:42pm #673697

llperezhill and collison are solid at pg. But the pacers are playing two superstars in wade and lebron and there best players are granger and west. Its gonna be hard to win it all without a great talent to lead the way.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:42pm #673698

Raef LaFrentzParticipantIt ain’t over yet..
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:42pm #673701

NiceWithTheRockParticipantIndy is fighting hard, you gotta love it. Way too many turnovers though.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:42pm #673699

IndianaBasketballParticipantLeBron James, Derrick Rose… Who else? Maybe Russell Westbrook.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:43pm #673702

KayjayParticipantLike I said, Miami does not close out on shooters. Btw that was a no-call when Wade was clearly hit. I’m js the calls are going both ways it looks like.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:44pm #673703

For_Never_EverParticipantThe turnover’s killed them over 20 in a single game.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:44pm #673704

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIndianaBasketball
Those were actually the only three players I had in mind lmao
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:47pm #673705

KayjayParticipantOn the other hand, I’m pretty sure we’ll have a selective memory of when Lebron scored here in the 4th to keep the Pacers at bay.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:50pm #673706

IndianaBasketballParticipantCredit the Heat’s defense, but the Pacers have handled the ball just terrible. Sloppy ball handling and passing.
I agree with you Llperez. When you have a superstar that can get his own offense in isolations… That’s just tough to beat.
That’s why I think the Pacers need a superstar at the point. Too bad Deron Williams is considering the Pacers.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:52pm #673707

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantNever did I think the Pacers would be able to hang against the Heat. Not at all, I saw this being a 5 game series with the Heat thoroughly dominating their wins.
This series really said a lot about both teams. The resiliency of the Miami Heat and the ability to play short-handed and beat very good and deep teams even while down.
The Pacers proved to everyone that they were a force to be wreckened with. The league is going to have to be aware of how good this Pacer team is next season.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:53pm #673708

For_Never_EverParticipantThe Pacer should go for Rondo. The Celtics have been shopping him and will continue to do so after the season.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:54pm #673710

IndianaBasketballParticipantLeBron got some good buckets in the 4th, but let’s be real here… D. Wade was phenomenal. He was tonight what LeBron was in game four… Even better from just a offensive/scoring standpoint.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:57pm #673712
B-ball fanParticipantPacers’ fans were classy. "Thank you Pacers" was a good way to close an impressive season, even if they did fall short.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 4:59pm #673714

IndianaBasketballParticipantI like what the Pacers have going forward.
Bird has a big decision to make on Roy Hibbert this summer. How much money will he command? He’s not worth big money to me.
I also think it’s time to move Danny Granger. Paul George needs to work on his mid-range game and his passing/ball handling, but I think it’s time to move him to his natural position.
The Pacers battled the Bulls last year and pushed the Heat this year, yes without Chris Bosh, but still… Good experience.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 6:29pm #673739
TheDagger40ParticipantReally impressed by D Wade’s phenomenal performance tonight. The best part about it was him not crying for fouls or anything, all of it was just him balling. Gosh those floaters a gorgeous.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/25/2012 - 3:10am #673779

HitsterParticipantIf anyone of us had said the Pacers would be 3rd seeds out West and make Conference Semis at the start of the season, they may have been laughed off the board. But when losing to the Heat is almost seen as a disappointment it shows how far the Pacers have come. This was with their main off season signing David West averaging well below career numbers.
Don’t forget that in the last 3 games, Leron went for 98 points and D-Wade for 99 points so any team would struggle to have won a game against them in that form.
I was interested to see Indyball suggesting that the roster could be changed, personally I apart from maybe looking for a PG upgrade, I cannot really see how the Pacers could upgrade the good team they already have. Especially after seeral years of rebuilding they have got back into contention so would want to stay there and with David West only having another year on his deal then any future moves may revolve around him.
Roy Hibbert’s deal will be innteresting to follow, I’d be looking at what say Maark Gasol got last year $57 million over 4 years as a good ballpark figure but someone might of course offer him a larger deal which the Pacers then have to consider whether to match. Also could he maybe look for the one 5 year deal that the Pacers could offer but they may want to hold that back for the future maybe Paul George.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/25/2012 - 5:36am #673801

IndianaBasketballParticipantI really like the current roster, but if it takes moving Danny Granger to bring back a stud at point guard… I’m all for it. I’d even be open to moving Danny Granger to bring back a stud shooting guard who can create his own offense off of the dribble.I think it was Jon Barry who said it… The Pacers will never beat the Heat without a star caliber type of player. But like I said… The Pacers had a good season and I really like what they have going forward. I was one of those fans who stuck with the team even during all of the bad years and it feels good to finally see the team rellevant again.0 - AuthorPosts
