Personally, I agree with Nbanflguy.  I guess Indiana is just passionate about his team.  Hell, when Scola was stomped by Love, I damn near wanted Love to be suspended for 20 games! lol

ha and I didnt want Love to be suspended. We are all biased to our own teams, but that doesnt mean we have to complain about every little thing that doesnt go our way.

The Pacers still have a chance to win the series, but they REALLY needed to win Game 4. They had Miami in a corner and they should’ve kept them there.

The debate happened yesterday. At the end of the day we’re still going to disagree, so really no point in going back to it. 

It’s maybe the shock of the first winning season for a few years and the thought that they could be very close to making the NBA Finals.

Whoever comes through the Miami-Pacers series must feel they will have a good chance against either Boston or Philly and for teams like the Pacers and Philly then the shots at NBA Finals maybe only come once during a team’s successful cycle.

Also if Spurs and Thunder have a hard series then the Eastern Conference winner could well have a good shot at the overall title.

Ight, but back to the game.As deep as Indiana is, the 2nd unit at times has a hard time playing efficiently, more specifically, they turn the ball over. And against a team like Miami, you just can’t afford to. They need to address this matter.

As I’ve said before, when Haslem, Miller, Jones, Chalmers, and Battier are knocking down their jumpshots, they’re unbeatable.

Miller and Chalmers are a combined 8-9 from downtown.

Play smart, they can win this game. You can beat Miami with good passing to outside shooters. Miami does not close out on shooters all that well. 

why is lebron yelling at battier on that play? Hes telling battier to be in the corner, but shane was wide open at the perfect angle and james just threw it out of bounds and acted like it was shanes fault.

Only a few players can make a play like that.  A select few.

hill and collison are solid at pg. But the pacers are playing two superstars in wade and lebron and there best players are granger and west. Its gonna be hard to win it all without a great talent to lead the way.

Like I said, Miami does not close out on shooters. Btw that was a no-call when Wade was clearly hit. I’m js the calls are going both ways it looks like.

On the other hand, I’m pretty sure we’ll have a selective memory of when Lebron scored here in the 4th to keep the Pacers at bay.

Never did I think the Pacers would be able to hang against the Heat.  Not at all, I saw this being a 5 game series with the Heat thoroughly dominating their wins.  

This series really said a lot about both teams.  The resiliency of the Miami Heat and the ability to play short-handed and beat very good and deep teams even while down.

The Pacers proved to everyone that they were a force to be wreckened with.  The league is going to have to be aware of how good this Pacer team is next season.

The Pacer should go for Rondo. The Celtics have been shopping him and will continue to do so after the season.

 Pacers’ fans were classy.  "Thank you Pacers" was a good way to close an impressive season, even if they did fall short.

Really impressed by D Wade’s phenomenal performance tonight. The best part about it was him not crying for fouls or anything, all of it was just him balling. Gosh those floaters a gorgeous.

If anyone of us had said the Pacers would be 3rd seeds out West and make Conference Semis at the start of the season, they may have been laughed off the board. But when losing to the Heat is almost seen as a disappointment it shows how far the Pacers have come. This was with their main off season signing David West averaging well below career numbers.

Don’t forget that in the last 3 games, Leron went for 98 points and D-Wade for 99 points so any team would struggle to have won a game against them in that form.

I was interested to see Indyball suggesting that the roster could be changed, personally I apart from maybe looking for a PG upgrade, I cannot really see how the Pacers could upgrade the good team they already have. Especially after seeral years of rebuilding they have got back into contention so would want to stay there and with David West only having another year on his deal then any future moves may revolve around him.

Roy Hibbert’s deal will be innteresting to follow, I’d be looking at what say Maark Gasol got last year $57 million over 4 years as a good ballpark figure but someone might of course offer him a larger deal which the Pacers then have to consider whether to match. Also could he maybe look for the one 5 year deal that the Pacers could offer but they may want to hold that back for the future maybe Paul George.
