r377ParticipantDoes anyone else think the odds are too uneven and bad teams are rewarded for tanking ?
For example Washington with 20 wins has nearly a 20% chance of winning where as Sacremento who only won 2 more games with 22 wins have only a 7% chance. Is 2 more losses actually worth almost 3 times the odds ? The Pistons with 25 wins only have a 1.7% of winning. The GS pick with 23 wins is only 3.6%. The spread and odds are just too big. I don’t begrudge the Bobcats a 25% chance of winning but with the Wizards: there were only a few games between their 20 wins and alot of teams with only a few more losses

CoolidgerParticipantI’d feel bad for the Bobcats if they didn’t win the lottery, but i’d feel bad for Anthony Davis if they did.

thricethefunParticipantWizards actually played well and were winning games at the end of the season (6 straight wins) whereas teams like the Warriors, Cavs, and Kings were clearly tanking games at the end.

scootover7ParticipantI think the Wizards should get the 1st pick because they weren’t trying to tank or the Kings. I don’t think the Bobcats intensity tanked. I do suspect Golden State did which if its past 7 Utah would get there pick which would be interesting.

PulseGlazerParticipantI really hope the Bobcats don’t win the lottery. I’m rooting for the Nets out of selfishness (I wouldn’t mind watching Davis constantly) or the Hornets, since I think Monty is one of the better, more unheralded coaches in the league.
