It is spelled ridiculous NOT rediculous. That is all.

. . .Unless you want to come up with a list of words most often misspelled/misused on this site. Using "dominate" when they intend "dominant" is the first thing that comes to mind. I realize everyone makes typos and nobody likes the grammar/spelling police, but it’s getting rediculous!

When did this turn into English class?

As long as people at least try to write in complete sentences or paragraphs, it’s all good.

It’s a bit annoying seeing people type that. If it didn’t happen often it wouldn’t bug me as much. Although who am I to talk when I still don’t know when to use then or than?

While we’re at it, it’s defense, not defence.

I’ve always wanted to create a post regarding this. I don’t mind mistakes here and there but, when the same mistakes always show up, it gets annoying. ROLE PLAYERS, not "roll players." He would HAVE, not "would of." Those are the two mistakes I see the most here on this site.

"I Dont No if its Better Then or Less Than"

Even if you were joking, I’d like to make this distinction for anybody else that is confused.

"Then" (with an "e") relates to time. A few examples: "People used better grammar in the ’90s. I guess everything really was better back then." "Learn to write better. Only then will I give you my attention." "If you still don’t understand how to use this word, then I don’t know what to tell you."

"Than" (with an "a") invites a comparison. A few examples: "My grammar is better than yours." "When you write like that, you sound less intelligent than my nephew who currently possesses a ‘D’ average in his ‘special’ third-grade class." "The distinction between these two words is even easier to understand than affect/effect."

    Their – ownership

    There – place

    They’re – They are

On the real though, that J.J Redick picture is hillariuosly rediculous.

ZackB – "defence" is not wrong, it’s the British spelling.
