    So a few things…

    1) I still don’t see Washington taking Robinson. They have Nene, Vesely (who is really a PF), Seraphin, and Booker at the PF/C spots, I think they’re pretty set at PF. I would expect them to take either MKG, Barnes, or even Drummond.

    2) Golden State couldn’t be stupid enough to take Lamb…or are they? They need size in the worst way, and I would think they’d take a shot at one of the good PF’s or C’s available, like PJIII, Moultrie, Henson, or Zeller.

    3) Sorry, but Detroit isn’t taking PJIII. They have Austin Daye, who’s basically already PJIII, and can’t seem to get on the court even when he’s healthy. I would expect them to take Moultrie or Henson.

That all said, I think the draft is still in order of the big board, so I know that team needs probably haven’t been accounted for yet. What do y’all think?

I think Lamb is a pretty good fit. They need a good sg prospect to replace Ellis.

How do Golden State "need size in the worst way"? They have Bogut and Lee as their starters, and Jeremy Tyler is a nice backup C for the time being who could start down the road. What they really need is a SF to round out their starting 5, and health. A healthy Bogut, Lee, Curry and Thompson is a very talented  group on paper, they just haven’t had a chance to play together.

I think the Pistons try to pair Monroe with Robinson. They could be a very good frontcourt because they complement each other wGolden State I don’t think needs to go big in the first round. They have a David Lee and Bogut so whoever they get probably won’t be starting anyway. I think they go for a 2 or 3 early and get a value big late first/ early 2nd round

But it doesn’t really matter now we’ll have a better idea May 30

I’m a Bucks fan, and if we could get Zeller and Barton, I would be a happy camper.

@ Supernova: 2 words- Klay Thompson. He’s already a great replacement for Ellis, and will be very good down the road.

@Omphalos: Bogut has only ever played one full season- his rookie year. Every year since, he’s been injured somehow. When he’s on the floor, he is a legit starter, and arguably one of the best C’s in the NBA…but he’s probably one of the most injury-prone active players. So even with the optimistic prediction that he plays 3/4 of the season, that leaves just Tyler, who’s still very young and not ready to start. Also, Lee is a lot like Al Jefferson in that he’s an offensive black hole. He’s a ball stopper, and all he does is put up numbers for losing teams. He’s too undersized to play any defense (though at least he tries sometimes, unlike AJ), leaving him too vulnerable against true PF’s like Aldridge, Dirk, Duncan, etc.

They either need an athletic, shot-blocking big, or a wing (SF) to go with the backcourt of Curry and Thompson.

@NWTR: If Robinson slides to Detroit, I’m sure they’d be ecstatic. I don’t think he makes it out of the top 5 though.

Can you imagine if Barnes falls to GS, how freaking deadly they’d be from the perimeter? With Curry, Thompson, and Barnes shooting 3’s, damn they’d be hard to clamp down on. But then again, since they have relatively little inside scoring, probably all they’d do is bomb 3’s, hahaha

@Firekahn For whatever reason I thought Klay was playing the 3 for them. My bad lol.

And Boston? What can they do?

I think they should sign a SG and some size. a C or PF

As for the Warriors, Perry Jones does not excite me there. If you could sign atHarrison Barnes would be an interesting sniper team.

Anyway if you need size, with the last first-round selection could try to sign Ezeli or Andrew Nicholson.

papanikolau, fournier, aldemir, satoranski all in 2nd round…. I doubt there won’t be one european prospect in the first round. (even if this year is less talented than last one or next one)

I’m Surprised Thomas Robinson is in this New Mock at Number 2!!! I know some scouts that are saying his agent started that rumor that he will go number 2….THey’re saying they love his hustle and all out hardworking style, which is comparable to better advanced versions of Brandon Bass or Kris Humphies….But they’re saying they wouldn’t take a player that can’t create for themself in the top 5…..

Golden State needs a dynamic small forward that can create plays, play defense and cause double teams..Not sure if there’s a guy like that in this draft…I wouldnt be surprised if they draft Lamb or Beal and play either Thompson or Lamb at small forward…Perry Jones Or Terrance Jones might be their guy if they cant get a top 3 pick…And they also need a pure point guard….Jeremy Tyler looks like a solid reserve that can fill in occasionally as a starter…If Bogut can stay healthy for entire season, the Warriors can battle for a 7th or 8th seed next year…..I wonder what coach Jackson thinks about St. Johns Moe Harkless? Some people are saying he might sneak into the lottery..I like him as a prospect ,but not in the top 10…

Remember this isn’t the actual mock. It is just a ranking of the players. When the lottery happens you’ll see a more concise choice for the team. Thomas Robinson going #2 only mean nbadraft.net believes he is the 2nd best player, wait till the lottery happens and everything will be clearer

I have no idea why they have the Raptors picking Rivers. Dwayne Casey wants a good shooter who also is a willing defender. Rivers doesn’t qualify, he is gunner who doesn’t look like he is going to be much more. They would be better off going after PJ3 or Ross. Both are bigger more athletic, and have more upside than Rivers. I personally don’t think Rivers is a lottery pick I would swap spots of where he and Ross are. Barnes is Raptors number 1 target. I could see them trading up to get him if they were close to the spot they think they could get him.

why do we have to go through this every year? Hes doing it by BPA and not team need…unless they did the lottery early w/o my knowing this year.
