jsdghifadgfuiogjkaghsdauigParticipantI am talking about when he can depart in the 2010 free agency…I dnt think he will leave the Cavs for the Knicks. Even though he isnt Mj, Michael Jordan went through the same thing when he had the decison to leave Chicago for Ny. Its all in his book. but point blank, do you think he will leave the cavs and go for a different NBA team? Or even go over seas and play, for double the amount of moula than he would make in the NBA (most unlikely situation)? Blog to me…..

llperezI would’nt put money on it, but Lebron comes of as a very busy savvy dude who will do what is in his best interest. NY would give him the chance to be the biggest name on the biggest stage. His endorsements would be even greater then they are now. He does not act like the type that would stay somewhere becuse he feels loyal or like he owes them anything, which he does’nt.
Ring or no ring, I think Lebron will be the King of New York in 2010.

QHaynes123It depends on 2 things…knicks improving and this season
This year- If Lebron wins a title, why stay? I mean If you got the Cavs a title and you won a MVP, ROY, ALL-NBA 1st….you dont have anything else to achieve….go to the Mecca and become the NBA’s biggest star in there biggest city.
Knicks Improving- They have alot of work to do. They need to find at least 3 good players who could work around Lebron. The guy I would want is Anthony Randolph. I would try all in my power to pry him out of GS hands. Another guy they should look at is Brandon Jennings.

a2ParticipantLeBron could leave when 2010 comes and everyone is waiting on that year it will be a great year to try to pick up players. Right now no one is sure on whwt Lebron will do but i think that if he brings a tittle to Clevland and they keep doing as well as they do that theres no reason for him to leave. I like him in Cleveland and its hard for me to see him somewhere else. The Knicks are ok but need much improving if the want LeBron because there is no way he will go to New York if he has no help. The sky is the limit for him in the Big Apple but i think he will stay in Clevland where he belongs.

playa23ParticipantI don’t think Lebron will leave at all he has a good thing going on in Cleveland i don’t think he would give that up, i know he likes a challenge and making the Knicks playoff contender is a challenge but i still think he’s going to stay a Cavalier when his free agency comes.

pistonsmanParticipantIt is possible Lebron to leave the Cavs I think if he wins a Championship this year he will leave but that’s just my opinion.
Lebron can be possibly a bigger name their if the Knicks are good. Because i’m going to tell you what Lebron on the knicks won’t make them a title contender i din’t even think a playoff contender. For my opinion Lebron James is OVERRATED!!! King James skip him he still hasn’t won a Championship so if he’s King James he should of won one by now. So forget Lebron. OH AND YEAH GO PISTONS!!!!!!!0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/13/2009 - 3:06pm #150088
QHaynes123Come Again…Lebron is overrated? WOW….you must watch hockey or something…please…Lebron James is everything but Overrated

gwh21Participantlast time i checked lebron made the pistons forever his permeant bitch team 3 years ago when he single handedly beat them in the 4th quarter, then beat them again this year…so basically pistonsman, shut up and go cry about the billups-iverson trade…lebron is king

bluedevils12Participanti think if lebron james gets himself a ring then yes he will be leaving cleveland to make a bigger presence elsewhere. but i feel if he doesnt get a ring he may stay jus 2 honor the city of cleveland and get them a championship

LiljaParticipantThe only team LeBron would leave Cleveland for is the Knicks, but only if he felt they could be a contender. Right now the only thing NY can offer LBJ is the possibility of better endorsement deals, as the Cavs will be able to give him a better contract. I highly doubt that many of the players on the current Knicks roster will be around after next season, so if James were to sign with NY, they would have to completely reconstruct their team to complement his talent. Even with the ridiculous amount of money they are willing to spent, it could take years to build a contender.
The best bet to win a title, possibly several, would be to stay in Cleveland.

rvirsalParticipantafter a 66-16 season? i doubt he leaves. but if the cavs suddenly regress next year and don’t make the playoffs or are gone by the 1st round, then he’s gone, (that’s if he doesn’t sign an extension this summer).

dandunk76Participantif he does go to the knicks and he doesnt have any other good players on his team and this results in him having to play more minutes and contribute even more do you think he could average a triple double for a season ? and have in mind that he might be playing for d’antoni, his system provides the opportunity to have inflated stats due to his fast paced offense orrientated game

moppelhParticipanti dont think he leaves, it will be a major PR hit if he leaves for new york after winning a title (which hes going to this year), he will be basically saying money matters more than winning. which is a marketing problem with the nba.

Jordan.TParticipanti dont think lebron will move at this moment in time, I mean he has a great team, great coach, great team chemistry, why move? the only way i can see him moving is because of team problems or other issues in the future, but i still dont think that will happen?

JNixonParticipantDo yall see how much fun the Cavs have every game?? Why would he leave? New York just drafted Wilson Chandler a couple of yrs ago and he is one of their best players at the same position Lebron plays. I dont see him playing 4 the Knicks..

WizardofOzParticipantI feel that if another star that has his contract expiring like Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, or Steve Nash goes to the Knicks then he probably will also go to the Knicks. If no other star goes to the Knicks then I doubt he will go to the Knicks either. I doubt he would pick the Knicks over the Cavs, which are a championship caliber team.
