FastAndFuriousParticipantArticle from David Aldridge and NBA scouts commenting on the PG’s entering the draft….
http://www.nba.com/news/features/david_aldridge/big-board-point-guards/index.html
One thing that kind of shocked me was a western conference scout said Marquis Teague "can’t go right, can’t handle it with the right, can’t shoot attacking right, always wants to go left".
At first I said Bullish, but if you watch his highlight tapes it’s true he never does much with his right, but that’s so weird because he’s right handed.

FastAndFuriousParticipantI believe Teague will be the best out of this class as well, that was just odd to me about his inability to go right, and he’s right handed.

ChrisCrossParticipantTeague will be the best pg in this class……………….

HaleParticipantI’m not very high on Teague. I prefer Marshall (undeniably superior PG skills) or Wroten (more potential imo).

ChrisCrossParticipantNot sure why people are so down on him, I get that he isn’t as spectacular as other Calipari pg’s in years past, but he’s still prettty good. I’d compare him to Mike Conley, not great, but a good pg.

WizardofOzParticipantRyan Harrow, Kentucky PG that transferred last year, is a better PG than Teague.

FastAndFuriousParticipantMarquis Teague would buss Ryan Harrow ass im pretty sure of that one.
I think alot of people forget Teague was rated #1 PG in the country and was at one point the top player in his class, also a MCD’s AA, he couldn’t put his full game on display at Kentucky, when these workouts start im telling you don’t be shocked if Teague stock gets even higher.

FastAndFuriousParticipantMarquis isn’t better than Jeff now, wasn’t better than Jeff at the same stage(Freshman year of college) and I don’t think he will surpass him either.

SpacegrassParticipantHarrow isn’t better than Teague and Harrow will be the reason UK struggles this coming season when they do. As for comparing Conley and Teague , Conley had much better skills for the position in college and the biggest thing Teague has is upside but outside of that I can’t see him being any better than his brother at best.
Marshall and Lillard are completely different but , they both do one thing exceptionally that none of the other PG’s , Marshall passing the rock and Lillard scoring. Who gets picked first between those two guys will be based on team needs from their PG but , I expect them to both be starters in the league.

uknationParticipantWell@fuss. Harrow got the better of Teague more times than not this year according to coach Calipari so we already know who would but who’s ass

FastAndFuriousParticipantI need a link for that one bruh lol I don’t think Harrow could outplay Teague on numerous occasions.

uknationParticipantGo to coach Cals website and seaofblue.com. You can also go to scouts.com Kentucky page. None of this is new news to UK fans.

ChrisCrossParticipantYea I’ve heard Horrow did work on Teague in practice, but that’s practice, doesn’t always translate to the game.

TRC1991Participanteither way you spin this, 2012’s draft class is paper thin at the PG position
small forwards? plenty of those bad boys

apb540ParticipantRight now for me I rank the position as:
1. Marshall…I prefer a pure point guard.
2. Wroten…He has a lot of potential but I see him being a John Wall type player if that makes sense. Obviously slower and less athletic but very similar otherwise.
3. Teague…It takes one heck of a player to do what he did this season as a freshman. Even with that talented of a team you still need a PG who can make smart decisions, hit shots, get to the bucket, and defend.
I haven’t really seen enough of Lillard outside of a few tapes and he was mainly a scorer in college. Not my style. I do think that all three of these guys have a chance to be picked in the lottery and I think they will all be gone by 23.

AKOOParticipantI got it.
Lillard
Marshall
Wroten
Teague
Tu Holloway
Lillard is the most legit when you talk defense and offense. Marshall is the most pure and is legit as a offensive weapon because of passing and playmaking but is not so good on defense. Wroten has the highest ceiling but has had ACL tear so don’t go to crazy with his potential. Teague could be a better playmaker than his brother but that is about all I can see that he could be better than Jeff at. Tu will be a 2nd rd or undrafted steal. He is legit.
