So now its confirmed, tough break for him. It was said in the other thread, but I agree. Next time there is a lock out, the whole season should be cancelled. The amount of exhaustion and wear and tear is heightened. So many crazy injuries…

Players tear their ACLs every year, it just happend to two key players in the playoffs,  this is not due to the lockout

IDK bro, two in the same day, Rubio tore his as well, Dwight Howards back gave out, I agree people get hurt all the time, but some of this has to be because of the lockout.

It takes time to get the body ready for a season. A shorter one with back to backs constantly, with no training camp is begging for guys to start braking down.

I agree it does seem like there were more injuries this year. I also read somewhere that the NBA used a record number of players this year. And when you figure that was in two less months of playing, that has to mean something.

    Damn lockout. The owners suck.

The lockout may not be the only reason, but it is deffinitely a big contrib. Too many games packed into too many days, they wasn’t getting the rest they usually get. Small injuries turned into big ones because of this.

This is brutal to hear, the condensed season is having some weird side effects. The ironmen of times gone by (Rose, Dwight) are getting injured, but the usual injury suspects are somehow healthier than ever (Bynum, Chandler, Garnett). Obviously there are exceptions on both sides, but Bynum in particular suffering no ill-effects of the lockout season strikes me as madness.
