llperezI currently drive a 2003 honda accord coupe that i bought new and it has been great to me. Especially in htese gas price times, i enjoy the mileage and reliability of the accord. Plus as a big guy, the accord has a lot of leg room compared to other sporty looking cars.

however i really cant wait to buy a new truck. Im leaning towards a dodge ram big horn with a full sized crew cab. But im also still considering a chevy silverado or a chevy tahoe although the tahoe is a little steep for my price range.
Heres some pics of what im looking at:
dodge ram

aamir543ParticipantThanks to this thead, I realized that I turned 15 and a half a week ago and that I’m now eligible for my permit. Probably won’t get a car for a couple year, but it’s all good. When I do get one I want somthing simple, used and cheap of course, but that’s still looking into the future.

TWINTAParticipant“Now actually seeing it as the only line on the floor is totally different,” he continued. “It kind of affects your mind a little bit. You’re used to seeing two-to-three other lines on the floor. On the NBA court now, it’s just that one big old three point line with lots of space, so you have to be well adjusted to it. It’s a lot further than what people think it is.”

Bad DogParticipantI have 3 cars. I have a family car, a comuter car, and personal car. The family car is a Crysler Pacifica (the girlfriend drives that), the comuter car is a crappy Suzuki Aero that looks bad enough so no one will mess with it, and my personal car is a 2005 Honda S2000 that at this point, I drive only once every two weeks. I’ve had the S the longest and made a few minor modifications to it.
As for trucks, Dodge is usually the better of the domestic companies. Toyota is also pretty good if you like Japanese. From the sound of it, you are looking for a bigger sized truck. You may even want to check out the Toyota Tundras. The engines in those trucks are very strong. If you don’t mind mid-sized trucks, you may even want to check out Toyota Tacomas. Just don’t by a Ford. After the 100k mark, the problems begin

BringWinBingoParticipant“There’s no sense for him to be talking trash to me,” Howard said. “He did his thing in the league. He was one of the most dominant players to ever play the game. Sit back and relax. You did yours. Your time is up. So I don’t really care. He can say whatever he wants to say.”

ZOOKINGSAWAParticipant”We’re finding out our strengths and how to combine them,” Gasol said. ”We have two main guys out, and they make a big difference, so we’ll have to see how we play when we’re full force.”

ZOOKINGSAWAParticipant“I thought our guards did a very good job of finding him. I thought it was a good first performance for him.”
Drummond acknowledged he had some nerves before the game.
“My teammates saw that, but they talked to me before the game,” Drummond said. “They said, just play the game, do the things you need to do, help us on the defensive end and things will start coming to you.43434

ZOOKINGSAWAParticipantFrank isn’t too worried about the expectations of Drummond. He said it would be a long process, like it is for most rookies.
“Anyone can do it once in a while,” Frank said. “You don’t get to this league without talent. What usually separates players is the ability, one, to fight through fatigue and have greater will than skill; two, is the consistency of doing what you do — whatever your job is — and doing it every single night.”mgjm676767

ZOOKINGSAWAParticipantThe regular season hasn’t even started yet and we have already gotten a ton of great quotes from some of the NBA’s finest.
Kobe Bryant recently mentioned that his next two seasons may be his last. During that same interview, Kobe offered a light critic of Dwight Howard’s personality and style of play:
“Dwight, to be a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, you’ve got to have a little of that dog in you,” Bryant said. “It’s just a matter of him digging deep and just pulling it out. But it’s already there. It’s just a matter of him having it become habit.”bsfg

y3koayouParticipantThough Gordon is still a young player himself, part of his job this season will be to help mentor Austin Rivers, something Gordon’s looking forward to.

y3koayouParticipantEspecially in the case of Davis, the 19-year-old has already began to assert his will on the court. The 6’10 standout from Kentucky has made a habit of calling out his teammates early on in his NBA career, something Hornets head coach Monty Williams relishes.

y3koayouParticipantHowever, in the NBA it is often said that one team’s trash is another team’s treasure. Two days after he was released by the Spurs, New York Knicks general manager Glen Grunwald signed Novak off the waiver wire. It was Novak’s fifth NBA team since being selected in the second round of the 2006 NBA Draft.jmh655

y3koayouParticipantFrom out of the league, to a stint in the D-League, to waiver-wire fodder, to a key contributor on a playoff team, to a lucrative long-term contract… all within eight short months.
Despite his success last season, and his freshly inked multimillion dollar contract, Novak was adamant in declaring his belief that continued success would only result if he approached each practice and each game as if his NBA livelihood was still on the line.[po[-89089

y3koayouParticipantIn addition, Novak also acknowledged that he’d have to continue to improve and expand his game if he wanted to be effective in the future.
“I think defenses are going to know my strengths and run me off the three-point line and do that kind of thing,” Novak explained. “This summer, I definitely put an emphasis on being able to put the ball on the floor. One or two dribbles, using my shot fake more; just understanding how defenses are going to play me.u56567

y3koayouParticipant“I like to play both,” Varejao said. “Power forward, I get to move a little bit more. Center is a more physical game and I get to be in there fighting.”
“I really do think of Andy as a power forward,” Scott confirmed. “I think that is his natural position, but in today’s league, he can play center with no problem and he has proven that.

baozaokeParticipant“I think so,” Curry said as to if he can stick around with the frontcourt-depleted Mavericks. “I think time will tell, but I’m going to do everything I can possible and the ultimate decision will be theirs.”
