Tony Parker to UCLA

I really pray Josh Smith doesn’t tell Parker after his first workout/practice at UCLA, "Hey man, nice job! Let’s go grab some dinner." 

It would only go downhill from there.

Wow, you took the words right out of my mouth. Short, stocky centers that are nimble and have a pretty nice touch. UCLA’s PF and C positions were already pretty set before Parker got there with the Wear twins and Josh Smith. I wouldn’t be all that surprised if he transfers because I don’t see him taking that many minutes away from those three, unless he’s okay seeing a lot of bench his first two years.

 Now that is how you recruit

UCLA is going to be loaded next year. They are going to be the most talented team in the country imo.

 Alot of lipids on that front line

 With all this talent comes expectation that Ben Howland better be prepared to meet

UCLA better slice through the Pac-12 without a hiccup.

There is no team in that league with remotely comparable talent, save maybe Arizona.

All Howland had to do was take Parker out to an all you can eat buffet and that sealed the deal

That seems reasonable. That’s why I wish Parker would have went to UGA or OSU, he’d get a lot more playing time. He’s a transfer waiting to happen.

Dont forget Josh Smith played very well his freshman, then struggled last year, so hopefully Tony Parker can play like Josh Smith did his freshman year.

I think people are are underrating Arizona though they have a great recruiting class, and have some very good returning players, how Josiah Turner plays is gonna be their x factor.

Ucla-Arizona should be a great matchup.

The wear twins should start and then the big boys will come in and bang off the bench. Should be a fun year in Westwood. Plus the bruins didn’t have any home games last year, they’ll be back in the heavily renovated pauley pavilion which will add more fan support.

That’s about as good a transfer as you will ever see.

 UCLA and Nc state will be two teams that will have alot of young talent that could be really good

 I say let the big big start and bring the wear twins off the pine. It is hard for the heavy dudes to get rolling when they don’t start. Then depending on whoever is hot during the game,let them finish the game. The sleeper in this recruiting class is Jordan Adams. that kid can really shoot the pill.
