    Will he stick around next year? he’s a nice 3rd option at the point. brings some size, loves to dish the rock, he cant shoot save his life but they dont really need that. he seems like a cheap insurance plan. making $473k this year

     I think he’ll stay around for a little bit.  Even if Denver doesn’t bring him back another team will give him a shot. There aren’t exactly a lot of point guards coming into the NBA this year, and the guy is a well built 6’6”.  

    I think the most impressive stat of his that you can look at is his Assist/TO ratio is 3/1. Even the games he’s played 10-20 minutes in, he doesn’t turn the ball over much or at all.  That alone will continue to give him a shot in the league.

    but I haven’t seen a single game since going to the league. For those of you that have seen him, how is his ball handling against quicker NBA guards? How is his defense against NBA guards as well? Does he have the footspeed to stay with people?

     LAL had intended to plan himself and Glock, but Morris ultimately fell to them. Wondering now if that was the best option possible. Stone and Selby would have probably been the better long term draft. Stone has good potential with his versatility, size,defense, and ability to get guys the ball where they need it. Morris will likely end up a good PG…..somewhere else.
