What The DevilParticipanthttp://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/220627/Kings_Will_Listen_To_Trade_Offers_For_Tyreke_Evans
Wonder what the market would be for Evans…makes me sad that he might be traded though

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantTyreke’s been disappointing
Trade him to Orlando for jameer Nelson and earl Clark or Ryan Anderson
Tyreke and Dwight would be nice probably the best player Dwight has played with

hoodwinkParticipantIf he ever becomes even a slightly above average jumpshooter, he’d be an utter nightmare for all opposition.
Would’ve been a senior at Memphis this year had he stayed. So still quite young, too.

TyroberParticipantNot really a big surprise. Kings really have no idea what to do with him. He needs to be playing shooting guard with an actual point guard, but they already signed a 2 guard. He would be great as a 6th man, but he doesn’t seem like the type to accept that role.

OllstarParticipantWho is the better of the two? I like ‘Reke’s game, he can’t carry a team though. No knock on Harden’s game either, the guy is a stud who can fill it up and puts team first. ‘Reke’s size reminds me of new #1 recruit by UCLA
.

Steventyreke evans to cavs for there first round pick anyone??

FearTheStacheParticipantIf they could get Reke with the Lakers pick and a decent player that would be inredible

What The DevilParticipantI’ll be honest…I might consider trading Reke for Cavs 1st rounder…doubt it would happen though

Stevena line-up of:
kyrie irving
tyreke evans
antawn jamison
tristian thompson
anderson varejou (?)
would be a piece or 2 away from being a dominant team. they would need to get rid of antawn jamison and get a dominant center and bring anderson off the bench.

river09ParticipantI think he could fit in well with the Timberwolves. He is a great player and the Wolves can offer him a lot of PT at the SG spot, they have no other options for the position. He’d have to learn how to better play off the ball. But I could see Rubio feeding him on cuts to the rim all day with Love and Beasley spotting up. I’m thinking JJ Barea or Wes Johnson or Martell Webster and Beasley or Randolph or Williams for him, that utah pick in the 15-17 range could be up for grabs too. Could help out both squads..

apb540ParticipantWhy did you post a profile of Shabazz from a different website?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/22/2012 - 5:35pm #662822

TyroberParticipantTyreke to the Cavs for the 4th,5th,6th pick is interesting. The cavs are wanting to win now, but Drummond, MKG, Beal, or even Barnes would probably be better fits long term. Doubt it happens, but still interesting thought.

thats disgraceful…..

Ghost01ParticipantI think the guy with all the negs is on to something…
Evans can probably be acquired for cheap right now, and Orlando DESPERATELY needs to give Dwight a perimeter player who can get his own shot. if they can sucker them into some kind of Jameer/Anderson/JJ Redick/Picks package, Tyreke may be a in a better situation as the primary ball handler, and 2nd gun on a legit playoff team.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/22/2012 - 5:53pm #662833

mgreener_34ParticipantThe Celtics were reportedly interested in Tyreke earlier in the year, and I doubt that interest has subsided. I doubt it’s possible, but the C’s two first round picks might be enough to entice the Kings. Maybe throw in Steinsma? Or, dear I say it, Rondo and a pick for Tyreke and Sac Towns first?

PulseGlazerParticipantReke needs to go to a team like Boston that will develop him, but with Bradley as their 2, I’m not sure he fits. Cavs are a good idea. The Orlando offer above is nowhere near enough for him. Houston could, as always, put together an interesting package around Dragic (sign and trade) or Lowry. Denver, however, might make the most sense. They have a ton of pieces, including some bigs and smalls that could really help shape Sac into a team…. and Faried next to Cousins would be sick.

JunkYardDogParticipanteverybody who would make a deal evans for rondo has to stop drinkin’… they don’t play on the same planet;
PulseGlazer is right houston and denver have the most pieces to make a deal.

theballerwayParticipantFirst get a real coach out there to start of with. Sacs a mess right nopw throughout the team. Why not play to his strengths rather than expectuiing him to become a totally different player. when he was ROY doin the 20 5 5 thing it was all good. Obviously playing the second season with the foot problems didnt help. But look at the team this season , this DMC guy is such a clown , one hell of a skilled clown but still- Salmons, Thorton, then draft Jimmer. I hope they do move him but If they think Cousins n Jimmer are gonna bring em out the basement theyre dead wrong. Tyreke is defo not the reason why this team is poor. Funny how quite perceptions change.

royc3yParticipantDont get me wrong.. i love evans..but he has not improve since his 2nd year.. evans and cousin reminds me of penny and shaq days.. both wants the ball in their hands..all the coach have to do is to make them run pick N roll!! well i hope they do a trade for new orlean for their pick…in that case..new orlean would have evans and eric gordon which make them a darn bloody good back court! With evans running the point he have gordon to spread the floor for him..if the defense crashes on him…he can pop it out for gordon to shoot three’s…With the pick. kings can get MKG…who can play on day 1..bringing intensity into their game which is lacking…and with their own pick they can get a nice core again…

ZeeProfessorParticipantIf the Celtics do trade for him…would Rondo and Tyreke Evans be the worst shooting backcourt ever?
Some of the guys here said they could trade him for one of the lottery picks from the other teams this year. I think they should go in the other direction, they have a lot of young players on the team already. They need a solid veteran who can start for them, Andre Iguodala?
He wouldn’t take a lot of shots away from Cousins, Thornton and the other guys, can play all NBA defense on the perimeter and give them a veteran presence in the locker room. I think Tyreke for Iguodala would be a good trade for the teams, 76ers get a go-to scorer and Kings get a defensive stud at small forward who gives them leadership.

hubhubParticipantEvans, Williams, Holiday, Turner on one team – NO WAY!
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/23/2012 - 2:36am #662891
PulseGlazerParticipantThe problem with Evans and Cousins in the PnR are that Cousins isn’t quick and decisive enough in that set, while Evans isn’t enough of a shooter to keep teams honest. The more I think on it, the more Andre Miller, Faried, and another piece works for Evans. I’d love Miller providing leadership, and Faried with Cousins could dominate. Add in either Afflalo or Chandler to fill in at the 2/3 and you have a real team!

Lotto StudParticipantNew Orleans to pair with Eric Gordon. Hopefully that would make him stay.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/23/2012 - 5:14am #662915

omphalosParticipantI’d like to see Charlotte put together a package for him, possibly involve Minnesota.
Something like;
CHA gets – Tyreke Evans
MIN gets – Gerald Henderson, CHA 2nd round pick
SAC gets – Utah’s first rounder, Tyrus Thomas, and whoever else they want outside of Biyombo/Walker or CHAs 1st rounder.0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/23/2012 - 6:38am #662940

What The DevilParticipantI kinda hope if we do trade Evans we trade him for a high draft pick. That’s what I liked the Cleveland trade idea. I just don’t know if we did a player for player trade we could get equivalent value.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/23/2012 - 7:38am #662966

omphalosParticipantI could see Portland taking a long look at him, they are reportedly in the hunt for a "backcourt star" and if they get the Nets’ pick they could use that as part of a deal to nab Evans.
Evans, Batum, Aldridge and whoever they get in the top 10 is a pretty solid core to build around. There’s also a chance that Flynn and Thabeet somehow recover from their lacklustre starts in their new home and round out the starting 5 for the future (though it seems unlikely, particularly in the case of Thabeet).

What The DevilParticipantAnd assuming Portland is able to keep the Nets pick that could become a valuable trade asset
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/23/2012 - 10:35am #663041
TheDagger40ParticipantIf the Spurs are able to get him for a decent price, James Anderson, a draft pick, etc.
Do you think they’d be able to fix him? Spurs have a history of turning poor- mediocre into decent to great shooters.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/23/2012 - 10:41am #663045

TomShoeParticipantActual Point Guard?! They have IT now!
If I had to trade ‘reke, I’d like a good PF, or a tall backup PG. Isaiah mans the PG spot, and Jimmer has a LOOONG way to go, so I’d like a guy who can fill in for matchup purposes. I’d like a PF, Jason Thompson isn’t doing it for me. He’s average, just not great. I’d like a draft pick too, hopefully a mid 1st rounder.
