I’ve noticed this guy has been playing very well for Sacramento. I couldn’t believe New Jersey let him go last year, I felt they gave up too soon on him. He’s a poor man’s Scottie Pippen, the way he rebounds and passes.

T-Will was my favourite player when he was at Jersey. I remember they sent him to the D League and he obliterated them, comfortably averaging a triple double when he was there. He’s got a youtube series called " Poor, Hungry, Driven" for anyone who wants an insight into his training regime and attitude. Was such a waste of 1 1/2 years on the end of Houston’s bench, so glad he can show his full potential now.

The guy was such a complete player. He wasn’t exceptional at anything, but he could literally do everything, including be a point forward type a la Royce White.

Royce White isn’t anywhere near as athletic as Terrence Williams.

T-Will reminds me a lot of a poor man’s Andre Iguodala.  Do-it-all athletic freaks that can guard and play multiple positions.  He averaged a triple-double in three games in the D-League, that just shows how versatile he is with playing time.  When he improves his shooting ability, he’ll be a starter in the league.  Until then, he’s a very, very good 6th or 7th man.

I never compared him to White.

I just meant he could run the point forward despite being a bigger dude like White did for ISU this year.

I remember when he was sent down and pretty much became a D-League legend in 3 games. Even though it’s not against great competition the man still averaged 28-11-11 and gave a glimpse into his potential and all-around ability, he just needs to get consistent minutes, which he’s just now starting to get. The future’s bright for him.

How sorry is Jimmer? When the guy that was picked last (Isaiah Thomas) starts over him, and some other guy that wasnt even on a team after the all star break and not a PG (T.Will), plays the backup PG over Jimmer.

Jimmer is about to be the next Adam Morrison. I’m putting Jimmer down as a bust.

Jimmer is a good shooter, but not a PG, doesnt have the size or athletic ability to be the starting SG. But if he isnt making shots what good is he?

Yeah Jimmer is god awful, can’t defend to save his life (or career for that matter), needs a very specific team around him to be successful, and the Kings passed up on Brandon Knight to get him.

I dont think Jimmer will become a bust,he had a period of games earlier this season where he played well….His problem is even though he can play the point,he’s not a great playmaker..Thomas is in the lineup becuz he does a better job of setting up players…..I think Jimmer might be best as a Jason Terry or Barbosa type player off the bench….I just hope The Kings havent drained his confidence by bringing in Williams who has been cut several times and letting the last player taking in the draft play ahead of him…

I never liked the pick. Its not that I think Jimmer is useless. I just think he can’t be a legit starter. His defense is bad, you can easily bully him into turning over the ball. Most guys block his shot with ease, and it looks like all Jimmer wants to do is shoot. I could care less about Jimmer honestly.

Terrence williams though, is impressive as hell.

to sell tickets to the large Mormon population in Sactown.  Shame they passed on Knight though, could’ve had a nice trio of Calipari players.

Lets Hold Off before we Jump on T-Williams Bandwagon..Yes he’s playing well for the Kings..And he played well in New Jersey for awhile, but then he let his Immaturity and Showboating Ways forced him back to the bench, then to the D-League then to the Waiver Wire….

T Will  didnt get along with Avery Johnson. That is why they got rid of him.

I love TWill but his shot is so erratic at this point that I don’t know where he fits. The Bulls could use an extra play maker like him but he reminds me a little of JR Smith without the shooting ability.

Jimmer sucks. White-Guy hype ala Adam Morrison. Anyone who thinks he will do okay in the NBA is basing it on opinions and not facts. He can’t guard anyone. He can’t get around anyone. He isn’t as good as a 3 shooter as many thought he would be. BUST.

I like the effort he has played with since the Kings picked him up. I am actually shocked they have him running point, because he is no PG. I thought he would play SF when they brought him in. He is built like a brick, but he really short.

I’m not on his bandwagon either.  What position is he?

I can see him bouncing around from  lottery team to lottery team every year, because he will pretty much bring more effort and energy than a lot of players on losing teams.

As far a Jimmer goes, he is absolutely a bust potential. After 1 season, no rookie is a bust, but the potential is there, considering how high he was drafted and the players like Thompson, Morris, Leonard, Brooks were drafted after him, and already showed more potential than he has.

Just more evidence showing the maloofs have no clue what the fuck they are fucking doing. Like I said I never liked the pick, and I took a liking to Honeycutt more as we picked him up. I’m not going to go as far as labeling him a bust yet, only because things take time. But everything Swag mentioned is true. Its painful to watch the guy at times. Its just his rookie year I know, but we could of done so much more with that pick. It was a waste to me, sorry Jimmer fans.

Terrence Williams is a swing man btw. Smart is using him coming off the bench. But I would of liked to see how well him and Evans play  together atleast once. If not him, I would like to see Honeycutt get a spin more. Then again I’d like to see a lot of things go down with that team. (insert shrug here)

He can play some PG.  He worked really hard on it and I remember thats the only position he played in Summer League.  He is not a PG, true, but he is capable of providing some backup minutes there.  I like what TOL23 said, he is like an Iguodala.  More of a swingman/Point Forward (hate to use that since it is so overused these days).

Although I never envisioned Jimmer as a bust, I didnt see him as having much upside and wasnt so sure why Sacramento was sooooo interested in him…its like that was there guy.  I can understand Utah loving him but why was Sac so hellbent on picking him up?

I am leary of picking guys like that so high…some compared him to Redick as far as how high he went.  Draft position that high warrants a guy who can at least be a decent starter for a bad team.  The upside to be an All-Star just isnt there and I am not sure he will be as good as J.J., because Jimmer HAS to play PG.
