    Apparantly Lester Hudson wanted a contract for the rest of the season but Cleveland didn’t think he was worth it… Memphis laughed and gladly picked him up, oh yeah, Lester gets to play in the playoffs too now.

    Nice, a win-win for Mr. Hudson. Sorry for Cavs fans that they let him go, but they must have had other plans in mind.

    Hudson is a borderline NBA player,but he continues to overachieve,becuz he works hard and thats why Memphis wanted him back there..

    They had 2 open roster spots they didnt fill at the start of the season…They used the other 1 on Arenas,who coach Hollins has said has played better then he hoped….But both Hollins and Arenas admit that Arenas isnt in the best shape yet..But he looks like once he gets his wind under him,he’s going to provide the instant scoring and shooting they’ve been looking for from the backup pg spot….

    I wonder why the cavs didn’t keep him. He was there leading scorer for a few games in row. Good pickup for the Grizz though. Im not really sure how much he will play, but it never hurts to have some depth in the playoffs.

    To many this may seem like one of those "Pickup the hot hand" sort of thing, but they could actually use a guy like Hudson the same way they could use a guy like Arenas. Even though he didn’t shoot the ball from deep very well in Cleveland, he hit 6 threes one game and it’s evident he has the skills to be lethal from behind the arc. The Grizzlies needed a long range shooter, and you add Arenas and Hudson off the bench, considering that their only shooters are in the starting lineup, this could be a useful aquisition.
