UNCbasketballbumParticipantI was just watching a video of Usain Bolt’s 100 meter world record at the world championships. The guys is a freak of nature. Is there anybody that can beat Bolt at the Olympics this year or ever?

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantI don’t think so. He has incredible length, but his legs move just as fast as the smaller guys. As someone with long limbs, I can say that length makes a huge difference in running speed.

Snubs15ParticipantSpeed = Stride length x Stride Frequency
His length gives him such an advantage. It’s amazing to watch just how much faster he is than everyone else.

Krypt14ParticipantI could see someone beat him in a race, possibly Yohan Blake but don’t see anyone getting close to his world record for a long time…he is just a freak. I love all the stories about him eating 12 chicken nuggets before races!

ThugmanParticipantI doubt it man. He had his season opener about 5 days ago in a 4*100m relay (see vid below) and he looks to be in imperious form. I have a feeling this is going to be another special olympics for him barring any injuries, especially with Blake breathing down his neck. He has a good chance at the100m & 200m WRs, just like in Beijing.

frogmanParticipantNa noone is beating Bolt this year. He is also a lock for the 200 which he is better at coz he doesn’t get off to the greatest starts being 6 foot 5 and all. Jamaica could actually win all 3 medals in the 100. Really would like to know what they have in the water over there to keep smashing out the fastest people on the planet.

UNCbasketballbumParticipantBolt has such long strides it doesn’t really look like he’s running full speed but he’s killing everyone else.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantNaw i think Bolt will take it in a landslide and the Jamaicans along with with Yohan Blake, Asafa Powell and Nesta Carter will win the 4×100 relay unless disaster strikes

Krypt14ParticipantHe looked impressive in thugmans video. Any takers for him going under 9.5?

goneParticipantCool didn’t know there were any track guys on the site. I run track in college unattached for now but nobody is beating Bolt but I want to know is who is going to be the next great American Sprinter with Tyson gay at the bottom half of his career

aamir543ParticipantBolt should win, with Yohan Blake maybe being able to challange him, but as far as ever, humans will ontinue to evolve and get bigger, stronger, and faster, so in due time someone will beat the record, but it doesn’t look like anyone’s gonna touch him this year.
