    Say, by some off chance, John Wall decides to attend the University of Kentucky to study sociology, and perhaps play a little basketball. How does this effect Jodie Meeks? Should he then return to UK, or does that keep him in the draft for good?
    Part of me thinks he could really benefit from playing alongside a guy like Wall, who can open the floor up for him a little bit, and this could bump him into first round territory. The other part of me thinks he will get lost in the shuffle, and drop off the 2nd-round radar altogether if we find out he can’t play without the ball in his hands.

    Jodie boy is already a 2nd round pick, it would be better if he enters the draft now cause it would be hard for him to score as many points as he did this year if he stays…Jodie boy aka Jamal Crawford

    I think this situation could turn into a Wayne Ellington type of situation. If Kentucky does get Patterson (I doubt it with DeMarcus Cousins & Daniel Orton in the fold) and Meeks to come back, the recruits already in, and Wall…they’re automatically a championship contender. I think if Meeks were to play with these guys, show us something new such as improved ball handling and passing he’ll indeed bump up to the first round. This way, it will appear he has improved, hide his weaknesses, and show he can play a big role on a good team since he will be a role player at the pro level.

    Jodie Meeks is very important, but Patrick Patterson is an early entrant out there that could still come back for Kentucky. If we see Meeks and Patterson come back, you have Cousins and Orton already there, 2 of the top 3 centers in the class of 09. And if John Wall commits, Kentucky becomes the no doubt favorite to win the SEC and maybe more.
