Mr. 19134ParticipantWelcome. We’ve been waiting for you…..NoMoney will arrive shortly with milk and honey.
As one of the biggest PJ3 fans on this site I’m gonna have to say the only real problem with your mock is that you should replace PJ3 and MKG’s positions. If MKG declares he’s nearly a lock for the top 4 and I don’t think PJ3 will get serious looks in the top 5 unless he starts ballin’ outta control.
Also Thomas Robinson should be ahead of Moultrie. Only way I could see Moultrie getting drafted ahead of Robinson is if he measures out extremely well and T-Rob not so much.
I really like where you have Quincy Miller.

HitsterParticipantExcellent first mock apart from PJ3 being a bit high all the other major picks look solid and fit most teams needs.

theepitome2122ParticipantI just think PJ3 is gonna kill in the nba… hes gonna be more a more athletic Chris Bosh with superb Handles, really needs a coach to push him, i see him 2nd option on a great team if he reaches his potential.
i was thinking of switching Barnes and MKG to be honest with you, i think Barnes lack of handles is gonna hurt him and MKG doesnt have great handles but is a GREAT Defender.Sounds crazy but im a UNC fan so i watch alot there games, and he Barnes disappears sometimes on both ends to me idk.
I think Moultrie is untapped and is gonna be a poor mans C -webb. Robinson is gonna be Good as well he just seems small to me, Great Athlete ,tweener size with out handles or great post skills. still can improve alot tho
Quincy is a sleeper, I’ve had Baylor in the final four since january, and Miller is still not playing his capablities. the Baylor system doesnt showcase his or PJ3’s full rep. I think both are gonna be monsters goin to the lane in the assocation.

NotHamedHaddadiParticipantYeah I agree with Mr. 19134, MKG and Jones should be switched. MKG has the talent to at minimum be a good defender and hustle player at the next level while Jones is all potential, with a low floor and high celing.
I also think TRob should be ahead of Moultrie but it’s close
I also think John Jenkins is going to go in the first round because of his insane shooting ability. I think he will be like a Eddie House at the next level but with more athleticism and driving ability.
I think Quincy Miller might be a bit too high, I project him somewhere in the 20’s to someone like the Lakers or Spurs who need a wing badly.
I like everything else though, I especially like the Marquis Teague pick for the Lakers, if Miller doesn’t fall to them then Teague is a great upside pick

Future_ScoutIMO, umm…
perry jones at number 5 and quincy miller at 11 is iffy, with pj’s play declining against better competition and quincy miller’s game questionable for the nba, not great athlete, bad stroke on the shot etc… aran’s post on it was on point (when he said he can be the next austin daye)
arnett moultrie im not 100% sold on, specially when taking him > T rob… waiting to see him in the tourney before he cracks my top 10
i had rivers>beal, at this point i like beal’s game translating better to the nba. i like how on drives he’s able to cup the ball, power thru the D and lay it up. props to indianabasketball, cus i argued that rivers ability to create his own shot makes him better, and for college bb it does…
dion waiters at 13, not happening…. combo-guard!…
john henson > fab melo
will barton?

river09ParticipantA new guy that writes with proper grammar? A rarity. Welcome… Thomas Robinson could be higher, but who knows. I’m going to withold judgment at least until after the first round of the tournament. The only reason Ross was on people’s radar’s was his showing last year against UNC.. A lot can change.. Buford I think will go earlier, Nash a lot later, PJ3 10 picks lower, oriaki won’t be drafted… Well done though.

theepitome2122ParticipantI Forgot Barton.
I left Sullinger off jus feel hes stayin another year.
Miller is gonna be a good player, jus not fully healed, not goin at it 100%.
Melos size and athetiscm alone are goin to push him up draft boards,
Henson is way to skinny to play more than 20 min. a game in the nba, plus he looks like hes jus playing of energy alot, flailing at the ball and running around cuz he cant establish position, could kill on fast breaks tho runs the floor in like 4 strides.
i think Waiters is gonna have that Bayless effect, where you hope he can develop some good pg skills, he could be dynamic.
Jenkins probably will move up, jumper is wet def.
Ya’ll are right bout MKG and PJ3, i just think PJ3 has such a high ceiling, some gm will be scared not to take him, for fear of what he could become.

Chilbert arenasParticipantBuford to Chicago, now that’s something that just seems like it fits perfectly.

Mr. 19134ParticipantI agree Baylor’s offense is a mess. They use to revolve their offense around Lace Dunn taking ill advised shots, not Pierre Jackson takes the same shots but makes them more. They don’t seem to ever game plan plays for either one of their elite forwards.
And Quincy Miller is 6’9" with a 7’4" wingspan, really tight handles, and is a very good shooter. He’s fixed his problem with his shot, his release point is higher, his elbows are tucked in, and it goes in at a high clip. Miller has a very good shooting touch which can be devastating when he’s on. Another great thing about Miller is he knows how to get his own shot and is very good pulling up off the dribble which at his height is a nice weapon. Plus he’s a good catch and shoot player. I don’t have any doubts about Miller’s game. For some reason people doubted Marshon Brooks too but he’s showing what a nice shot, scoring instincts, a tight handle, and long wingspan can do for you in the NBA. And Q isn’t a bad athlete, he’s a very solid athleticism who has nice quickness and good open court speed. I see his game translating similar to Rudy Gay’s at the next level just without the freakish athleticism, but the way they operate from the perimeter is very similar.
