rickybobbyParticipantThe Nets have announced the Brook is going to miss the next three weeks with a sprained right ankle. Basically meaning no Dwight for New Jersey. I think now they got a decision to make on wheter or not the should trade Deron Williams before the deadline. Williams has been playing great lately and playing hard all season but i think now its pretty much a done deal with him leaving during free agents. I think they should atleast try to trade him. And im thinking LA would be the the perfect fit they could offer a somewhat similar deal to the Chris Paul trade with the Rockets getting Pau Gasol.

Johnny ChillIs his ankles weaker than Steph Curry’s?
Warriors should make a move for him right now, since is value is lower.

Wavy BagelsParticipantWhat a staggering blow for the Nets. And it had to happen RIGHT before the deadline.

aamir543ParticipantForget the Nets! What about my Fantasy Team, I made several trades on account that he would average 20 and 6 a game. Damn.
On a serious note, huge blow to the Nets, they’ll basically have to trade D-Will now, assuming that the Magic would scoff at a Lopez-Marshon Brooks package after Lopez’s recent injuries. Unless Dwight somehow lands in NJ, than D-Will is no doubt out the door. I hope Lopez gets healthy though. He is a really talented scorer, although it is a bit strange that he suddenly went from a 8.5 boards per game guy in his first two years, to a 6 rebounds per game guy.

NYK2010ParticipantLopez isn’t a big loss for fantasy players.
I’ve already lost Varajea, Bogut, Beasley for a lot of the season just on one team.

PulseGlazerParticipantThis is fairly terrible for the Nets, but, well, if I were Dwight I’d still be most likely to sign with NJ. Brooklyn market, keep Deron, get a high draft pick and keep Marshon… that’s a real team that won’t collapse in a year or 2 like the Dirk trio would for lack of help around the 3.

BA30ParticipantI agree that if Howard does truly want to go to the Nets, you should hold on to D-Will and hope to re-sign him this offseason. Or if you are D-Will you can simply pick up your player option and see how it plays out for a year (although this is more risky if there are injuries). What point guard wouldn’t want to play with Howard?
