NbanflguyParticipantFrom Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area New Group: "Warriors still hold interest in Danny Granger, though Indiana won’t trade him."
From reports, it’s sounding like the Warriors are looking to be aggressive heading into the deadline, as they’re still holding out hope they can get into the Dwight Howard sweepstakes.
But with Granger and Howard likely not coming to the Bay Area, the Warriors may have to get creative or engage with other teams if they’re set on mixing up their roster.
And what it might take is Golden State convincing another team to take on Monta Ellis despite his shortcomings.
Though, it sounds like another possible target, Chris Kaman, could be had for less than the price of Ellis.
ESPN’s Chad Ford
Pacers have done good job building around Granger
"Hands down in my opinion (that Larry Bird should win executive of the year). He and David Morway have done a textbook job of turning around a down and out franchise in a small market. Draft well. Don’t overpay. Focus on chemistry and value players at each position. Bird was a great player. A great coach. And as it turns out, a great exec too.

NbanflguyParticipantThe Salt Lake Tribune reports the Utah Jazz are willing to make a trade by March 15, although nothing is imminent and they’re OK if nothing gets done.
Devin Harris is not a good fit with the Jazz and according to the newspaper, the team is open to moving the point guard and C.J. Miles for the right deal.
The Jazz have a quality foursome of Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap, Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter and plenty of teams needing a frontcourt player are probably calling to find out if anyone is available.
The Jazz will continue to take a long-term approach and they won’t make a trade unless it helps them going forward beyond this season.
