Anton123ParticipantOr is the Rising Stars challenge entertaining evbery year and people just ingore it? The event gathers no cround, there are plenty of empty seats every time
I mean if someone did a behind the back dunk or a freaking elbow dunk in the all-star game people would be all over it, putting it into highlights and going crazy, here people just act like it didn’t happen. The commentators didn’t even mention George’s elbow dunk.
And every year it really is cool, this year it wasn’t as good as the previous two years, but it really wasn’t bad at all

omphalosParticipantIt might just be an Orlando thing, I noticed that nobody was cheering when they announced the starting lineups, except for Lin, Rubio and a little for John Wall. You could have heard a pin drop for the other players, which is disrespectful in my opinion.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah, I really think it’s underrated as an event. People are quick to mark it off their calender.

Mr. 19134ParticipantIt’s my favorite game of the year. It the funnest games of the year. And the best part about it is you get too see these players full skill set. I love it. It’s the most entertaining All Star game in my eyes in all of sports, producing the most highights, always has the highest scores, and you get to see the stars of tomorrow show you what they can do.
Not to mention the rookie/soph game always has better dunks in it then the dunk contest. I doubt a dunk is better tomorrow then John Wall behind the back tomahawk.

omphalosParticipantAlso, best moment of this whole game was Greg Monroe stealing the ball in the last 20 seconds or so when John Wall was trying to set himself up for an oop off the bounce. The look on everyone’s faces were classic.

Memphis MadnessParticipantYes, this is the best event of all star weekend. I like how they mixed up the rookies and sophs
to make the teams more interesting and competitive.I watched the entire first half but missed the second. Rubio looks like an incredible floor leader. If he gets a shot,
watch put. Kyrie Irving is the real deal. It will be fun to watch these guys in this game next year too.0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/25/2012 - 9:15am #641192

NYCrealdealParticipantlike the idea of mixing the two. john wall is a moster. we need him in the dunk contest next year. sign him up right now. cant wait to see wat paul george does tonight after his elbow dunk. hopefully next year the first half is more playfull stuff and they start to really play in the seccond half. great game buy every one all around and kyrie was on fire from three. landry played well and turner impressed me a lot. cousins, monroe (asshole for f’in up walls dunk) and a lot of other players impressed me aswell. cant wait to see rubio and wall in the allstar game someday.

aamir543ParticipantI am sure it’s a great game, for some reaosn I’m always busy the Friday night of the game, lol, and same for the Sunday of the ASG, but Saturday night is my favorite. And I wish they didn’t get rid of the horse contest. Three years ago it was great great with Durant and Joe Johnson. But I guess it didn’t work out the following year when you have Omri Caspi and Rajon Ronod in it, lol.
